We did this sighting tour on 5/18, just something to do on a beautiful Saturday. What a great way to spend our day too. The Blue Heron has a bar with refreshments and food too, a cute little store off the side, and beautiful views. The tour was on 1 of their pontoon boats, which we found to be a nice value and GREAT tour. The marsh is HUGE with alot of water. They offer other tours and we would definitely consider another. The owners are friendly and very knowledgeable having grown up right there.

Celebrated my Mother’s 93rd birthday with a 7am tour of the Marsh during their mother’s day weekend festival! Captain Marty was wonderful and we had a birding specialist, “kelly” on board, as well as many other very birdy people, that were awesome at identification! Beautiful morning on a spectacular marsh!

After the boat tour we stopped into the beautifully remodeled coffee bar and cafe on site! WOW! That woman can bake!!!! Had the egg bake and fresh rhubarb coffee cake, as well as specialty coffee! A truly gourmet treat at very reasonable prices!

Clean, cute, modern boutique and great people made it a wonderful morning! They’re gonna need more help, because they’re gonna be bombarded with people as the word gets out!

We went on the 11 am tour and it was an amazing time. We learned about the history if the marsh. The captain was extremely knowledgeable about the area. We seen lots of wildlife as well as we took lots of amazing photos. After we went in the restaurant and had a muffin and a bloody mary. What an amazing time. We will be doing this again and telling others.

I really loved this cute, modern coffee shop! They had delicious pastries and a great chai 😋. They have an outdoor seating area overlooking the river and it looked so peaceful. Blue Heron runs boat tours on a regular basis during the warm months. I'm looking forward to going on one next year.

I stopped by today for the first time. A town local told me about it and it’s very close to my house. This is the cutest little place ever. They have a gift shop, boat tours, and a small restaurant. I got the homemade chai and homemade blueberry muffins. Both were the best that I ever had. I will definitely check it out again. The owners were so kind and gave great customer service.

New owners can sometimes mean trouble - not in this case! I love the new "Adventure Tour". The small group (three passengers) meant more personal attention, which meant we could ask and learn about things we were interested in. The pilot/skipper was able to share a lot of knowledge about the history of the marsh. He knew of awesome places to stop and spot birds. If you're a photographer, you'll be in heaven. I was worried about sea / motion sickness on the smaller duck boat; verses the pontoon boat, it was not a problem whatsoever. It also allowed us to start, stop, and travel quickly - which was great for a breeze on a warm day...and we could get into tighter, shallower places. The new owners are refreshing, kind, and seemed to be interested in making our time with them on the boat a great one. And so they did. Thank you, I will return.

Beautiful 2 hour Marsh tour! We saw so many birds including quite a few eagles. There was plenty of room,not one mosquito(I swear!),and our tour guide really knew his stuff. We were able to get some great photos! Be sure to stop at the Horicon Marsh Visitor's Center/Explorium across town too! So much to see and explore!
