The staff and general manager Jade are extremely friendly and obviously enjoy their jobs. They continue to raise the bar to make each stay comfortable and enjoyable. Very welcoming and make you want to come back and stay at their hotel. I will continue staying here and recommend this hotel to all my friends/ coworkers when in the area.

Overall experience during my stay was very positive. Staff was excellent, beds were a firmness level that (subjectively) was perfect. My only real issues were cosmetic or minor annoyances, except for the internet. Cracked drywall in the bathroom ceiling and around the door tell me there's a lack of general maintenance being performed. But meh, it's hard to get people to work right now, Especially at the cost I'm sure the hotel would like to pay, vs what the work is actually worth today. But I digress. TV remote was annoying to use, and required a lot of hand strength to change channels with. The real issue was the internet. If you want to get any remote work done, get a hotspot. The hotel internet is atrocious.

Overall, the stay was good. Slept well. Stayed dry. Stayed warm. But for over $100 a night before discounts, I kind of expected the room to be a little better maintained.

The hotel was as expected for a holiday inn express. Our room was near the elevator and was noisy. Had noise coming up from the lobby music thru the floor (we were 2nd floor). Heater unit was noisy and had no option for constant fan to drown out the other noises. Breakfast was poorly stocked and overcooked. Subpar at best. Rooms were clean and hotel was clean. No highway noise. Different room and better breakfast experience would have made big difference.

The staff was friendly. The pool was clean. Filtration was perhaps bromine as there was no chlorine smell, burning eyes, or skin irritation. Water temperature was perfect so kids could swim without getting cold.
It was nice to have gluten free choice at breakfast. Hot food was good. My grandson says they’re the best pancakes in the world!

We travel a lot so cleanliness is always at the top of the list. Pleasant employees, very comfortable bed, quiet with easy I41 access. We’re not able to enjoy the breakfast buffet or the pool this stay. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of our stay and will visit again.

The Inn was very clean. There was nothing in the room to display what time breakfast began. We ate breakfast around 9AM and most items were gone and hot items were cold. The pancake making machine was a hit. Restaurants and eateries were within 2-3 miles and adjacent to main throughfares. We were within 15 minutes from our venue. I do recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay there on our next excision to the area.

There seemed to be only one staff member there from when we arrived around 7:30pm until we headed up to our room for the night at 10:30pm. There were no clean pool towels and the bin of used pool towels was overflowing. Stayed swimming an extra 20 minutes waiting for clean towels.

Only one employee doing breakfast on a Sunday morning.

But the worst part is: I called on Monday morning after I realized all 3 of our kids' swimsuits were left hanging by the shower. Had a friend coming through town that evening after employee confirmed she had our suits from the room # I gave her. Friend came to pick up suits and they were ours. I called again on Tuesday morning and asked that she go back up to our room and check since no one else had used the room yet. THEY WERE STILL IN THE SHOWER AFTER THE ROOM HAD BEEN "CLEANED". That's disgusting and dishonest cleaning.

The employee working was not very pleasant. She did not go out of her way to be friendly at all. She did her job but did not put forth much effort.

It would’ve been nice to have breakfast at 6 AM. We had to leave at 6:30 so we were not able to eat breakfast at the hotel.
