Five-star experience all around from the tour, to the tasting, to lunch upstairs at Sweet Mercy Kitchen!

Our group toured with one of the founders, Bob, who was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the process, vision, and establishment in general. Several from our group said it was one of the best wine tours they'd ever had.

The gentleman who poured the samples was equally knowledgeable and personable...truly a delightful experience - capped off by some ridiculously good sandwiches at Sweet Mercy Kitchen.

Hermit Woods is something special for sure. Cheers to a delightful afternoon!

We came here for a wine tasting, which was fantastic! The wines were very good and the price was very reasonable. I was so impressed with the wine and service that we decided to stay for dinner. That ended up being another great choice. The food was tremendous! I will absolutely be visiting again next time I am in the area, and I would recommend you do the same!

My now wife and I traveled to the area for our mini-moon in September and decided to do a wine tasting. We absolutely loved this place! Everyone was so welcoming and knowledgable about the wines. When they learned we were there celebrating our recent marriage, they gave us a complementary glass of sparkling wine and offered us a private winery tour! We had the nicest time and can't wait to return for an anniversary visit.

My family and I went for the tour and tasting. Very affordable at $25/ticket and included 6 wines to taste from a selection of 10. This was a great experience. We met Bob and Ken, two of the three co-founders and they were very personable and happy to share their story and knowledge. The whole staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, they helped us find favorites and we brought many home! The wines offered are a unique take on traditional wines made of local pesticide free fruits! Great place for small meals and events as well as they offer shows!

Our food was excellent and unique (love that everything is locally sourced). We especially loved everything on the charcuterie board! My son had the ramen special. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The drinks were also unique - I don’t know that I’ve ever had a fermented blueberry that wasn’t sweet. The live music was appreciated - it was such a nice evening.

This spot has delicious wine, incredible healthy food, and AMAZING live music venue up in the Loft! I got to perform there on my fall tour and the sound was incredible. Table service was well timed and folks came to listen and enjoy the music - was one of my favorite venues to perform on tour!

This was our first visit to the area and decided to give this place a try. I had never had wine that was not made with grapes before this experience. I loved their beautiful wines and appreciated the knowledgeable person telling us about the wine we tried. Thank you!! (I’m disappointed they don’t ship to Michigan - or I would have joined their wine club. However, we managed to get two bottles home unscathed in our suitcase for our flight home!)

What a wonderful spot!

My partner and I stopped in for a quick bite and drink and had a memorable, wonderful experience. The staff were lovely and welcoming, the chef was incredible, and it was lovely to see one of the owners walking around engaging with guests.

Hermit woods left an incredibly strong impression in such a short period of time — I highly recommend visiting if you have the time. We tried two salads and the chef paired it with a recommended wine and beer. His personal touch to the experience is another reason to come back.

Also the downstairs dining and shop area are dog friendly!!!!!!
