I rented a cottage through Harris real estate for a week (family of 7). We came upon some issues that were non-reversible. This issue was not Harris real estate’s fault. Our decision as a family was to leave the cottage. Harris real estate worked with us and made the transition easy. We left the cottage and stayed another place. Our family had a wonderful vacation. We rented a cute little 2 bedroom cottage from them for a week. The price wasnt too expensive and the cottage was adorable and had dishes prestocked. It was only a 5 min maybe not even that walk to the boardwalk and beach. We plan on renting from them again next year

Upon arrival, we are so happy with our site unseen rental ...can not wait to post photos! Never did get a chance to take pictures as I was soon busy enjoying the place fro. The first minute. Wonky rental on K STREET with absolutely everything we needed to have a great week. Office and leasing staff were always friendly and helpful. Rental was in the best location if you want something lively and central! Can not beat price!

Recently rented a beach house and was very disappointed when we arrived to see the condition of our rental. The place was very dirty, the ceiling in one bedroom was collapsing/hanging down, there was graffiti all over the bedroom/bathroom walls, all appliances were old and dirty, the shower was falling apart and absolutely disgusting, there was no AC for the warmer days and no heat for the nights it was cold & rainy, the mattresses were so hard/old it was like sleeping on the floor and I wouldn’t be surprised if there was bedbugs, the list goes on and on. The pictures provided on their website were nothing close to the rental conditions. We will not be renting again through Harris Real Estate, I can’t see paying the amount they charge to live in those conditions! For future renters, make sure to ask for recent pictures and a list of amenities with the conditions of the appliances, or maybe ask to view the property before renting, it may save you a lot of money!

P.s. I took multiple pictures of the property if anyone is interested in viewing the conditions of one of their rentals.

Rented 3 cottages last year and every single one of them was dirty bad broken beds or chairs and one fridge kept shutting down which caused lots of food to spoil. Decided to give another try this year at one of their other cottages, the doors were broken, the couch didn't even have cushions, only 1 out of 3 tvs worked, the beds were filthy and under the couch had lots of food crumbs, utensils, cups like it had never ever been cleaned. The unit was on a 2nd floor and the railing was held on by zipties, as were what was left of the curtains as they were mostly broken. The location was great but it just does not seem like their properties are well cared for and are very outdated.

We rented Duffy's cottage, it sits right on the sand very very close to the ocean and was a very nice stay. A few things went wrong with the house while we were there but nothing that the staff couldn't help us with. Alex in the office is extremely polite, courteous, professional and responsive to questions. My parents rented a cottage called Clearview. The address is 14 Boston Ave which is two streets over and this is where we had a bad experience. Do not rent any cottage on Boston Ave through Harris. It sounds like Loretta owns three cottages and the parking lot that goes with them. Long story short she yelled at my husband because we were using the parking spaces. Loretta was unnecessarily rude and she was wrong. We paid for two cottages that came with four parking spaces in total, and we only used only our assigned parking spaces for the two cottages. Apparently There was another car parked in Loretta'sparking lot that didn't belong there and she blamed that on us. I called the office and spoke to Alex about it he listened and he was kind and he said he would speak to her. So again if you rent Clearview be prepared to be harassed by Loretta or ask Harris rentals for stickers to put on your cars and those of your guests

I had a RE deal fall apart at the last minute - We enlisted the help of Bruce Harris and could not have been more pleased - He assisted us in getting the necessary repairs down quickly and reasonably - The property sold within a week for higher than we anticipated - What's not to like? - You are the real deal, no fluff, just results - Well Done
