The Glynn House Inn is one of our favorites. We've enjoyed weekends away up there and recommend it unreservedly. The innkeepers are very friendly and well prepared for guests. The breakfasts are very good and filling. We stayed last in the Grant Room which is roomy and comfy for a couple getting away from the day-to-day grind. We'll be back again for sure.

We had a wonderful experience at the Glynn House! We recommend staying in the Coolidge Room since it was a nice size and had a full bathroom attached. The breakfast every morning was fantastic and we enjoyed our passing conversations with Glenn (he has a remarkable life story)!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Glynn House Inn. We wanted a few nights away for a break, and we both feel that we got that at this very welcoming and comfortable Inn.|We stayed in the Roosevelt Suite in the Carriage House. I was a little concerned that because the suite that we chose was listed as not being in the main inn, that it may be a modern building and lack character, but that was not the case at all. The Carriage House is located just behind the main Inn building in a solid building which I would guess is only slightly younger than the main Inn - lots of character.|The Roosevelt Suite was exactly as pictured and described on the innkeepers' website - it has an enormous bed which was very comfortable and had nice bedding. A short set of steps is provided on each side to ease access onto the beautiful, high bed - this was fun!|The bathroom is very large with a shower, toilet, and a jet tub.|The living room was very comfortable with nice decoration and furniture. Our favorite feature of this suite was the large gas fireplace - it made the suite feel so cosy.|We ate a great breakfast every morning. |The host, Glenn, was a very welcoming and interesting man who has travelled the world and who, at our encouragement, regaled us with stories of his travels. He had recently returned from a photography trip to Africa, which he had visited many times.|I would recommend this inn to anyone, especially since it allows a dog to stay if you are in the Carriage House. There was no "doggy" odor or sign of dogs having stayed there - the place was spotless throughout.

My boyfriend and I had the most amazing stay at Glynn House Inn for the new year. Parking was very close to the main entrance. There were only a few other guests during the nights we stayed and we couldn't hear them. Our room was very clean, the shower had fantastic water pressure, and the fireplace was lovely. For those wondering, the fireplace comes on automatically based on thermostat settings, so if the room temperature dips below the set temperature then the fireplace will light on its own. All the settings can be modified and you'll be given a sheet with all pertinent information when you check in. Glenn, one of the innkeepers, was a wonderful host. He had plenty of information about local restaurants and activities, and was overall very pleasant to talk with. He also maintains suggestions on the inn's website, which was a great source of information as well. Breakfast was available between 8:30 and 9:30am with a standard menu, in addition to daily specials. One of the specials was savory, and the other was sweet. The specials didn't appear to repeat for the few days we were there, so if something catches your eye, go for it! After placing our selections, we were also offered plates of fresh fruit, a muffin, and coffee and/or juice. I cannot eat a lot in one sitting and Glenn offered a small ziploc bag so I could take my muffin with me, which I found very thoughtful. This was our first time staying at the Inn but certainly won't be the last. Thank you again for a magical experience!

(P.s. I also recommend the Common Man for dinner. Pub-style with fantastic food & drinks, friendly service, and a great no-fuss ambiance.)

My fiancée and I have had 3 stays at the Glynn House Inn and hope to keep coming back for years to come. It’s an extraordinarily special place for us and we feel at home when we’re there. It’s the perfect place for a getaway with a loved one, and Glenn & company (including their 2 Dalmatians!) ensure that you feel personally seen & taken care of.

Breakfast is wonderful—from Glenn’s playful but refined service, to the excitement of wondering what type of alluring muffin you’ll receive that morning.

Glenn is always ready with recommendations for how to best spend your day, and he is very skilled at understanding his guests and what they might enjoy.

The rooms are quaint and cozy, and we are having fun testing them all, as we’ve stayed in 3 different rooms across 3 different stays. The apartment unit behind the Carriage House is elegant and spacious (and dog-friendly), complete with a kitchen, but it does not include breakfast nor the daily evening wine hour, which we sorely missed! This time, we went with the Harrison room in the main inn and, although much smaller, it still proved to be a fantastic experience.

You’ll meet lots of interesting people staying at Glynn House during the aforementioned breakfasts and wine hours, and the friendly, encouraging ambiance Glenn and his family create fosters an attitude of amiability and extroversion.

The signature tree in front of the inn has become a symbol of natural beauty and relaxation for us, and we look forward to seeing which stunning colors it will produce each fall.

We won’t be considering any other place to stay when visiting the lakes region of New Hampshire.

Dave and I recently stayed at the beautiful Glynn House Inn for three nights as part of our New England tour. It has so much character, very homely and comfortable. Our large bedroom was very classic, so relaxing and cosy.
Glenn was a wonderful host, so knowledgeable and made many recommendations about places of interest to visit.
Many thanks to Glenn and Ingrid for the wonderful breakfasts served by our host in the elegant Dining Room with tables impeccably laid. We had daily choices and a specials menu each day. The food was absolutely delicious.

My wife and I anxiously await our next trip to the Glynn House Inn.
