This was a horrible experience! The room was dirty!! White stains all over the sheets and the pillows!! Dust, dirt and cobwebs everywhere!!! Spiders in the shower which my boyfriend had to kill so I didn't die of a heart attack! The shower was dirty and moldy! Carpet and bathroom floors were beyond dirty...things were sticking to my feet as if I was walking around outside ! It looked like it hadn't been cleaned or vacuumed in months maybe longer! The wine glasses left out for use were dirty and dusty! The tub had stains and rust all over as if it has never been cleaned...ever!!! I had to walk around with sandals on the floors were so gross! We booked it to attend a wedding close by and after we returned from the wedding we chose to leave and drive back home 2 1/2 hours away without a refund! I could not imagine sleeping in the bed with all the stains and did not want to stay in that room any longer!! I understand it's an older room but doesn't explain the lack of cleanliness!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

What we hoped would be a cozy B&B turned out to be more of a Sybaris-in-the Woods. The rooms lack decent insulation so let's just say that sounds travel easily from one suite to the next. Our room was not very clean. There was no way my wife or I would consider taking a step into the hot tub. The bathroom was dated and in disrepair. Our stay included a bottle of wine which turned out to be 3-buck Chuck from Trader Joes. The breakfast buffet offered mostly junk. The food was not well replenished for guests arriving late for breakfast.

DISGUSTING!!!!!! This place was absolutely the worse fuggin place I've ever seen. We tried to get a romantic suit and in the pictures it was beautiful! Well not even close!! Spider Webs EVERYWHERE dust dirt, stained sheets, the wine glasses they put out were dirty and not just water stains it's like as if they were never in water and just wipped down the glasses with a dirty towel. So many spider Webs ughhhhhh. Not kidding it gave me anxiety being there to were I felt like I was going cry for some reason..the "hot tub" had nasty I think water stains coming out of every crevice and the faucet was rusted and chipped off or something not sure like some acid was poured onto it..the shower door even had spider Webs going across it. Like the room hadn't been cleaned ever since they opened. The dust the spider webs the just all around dirtyness made us so uncomfortable it was disturbing how they can even think someone would stay in that room. Luckily we got refunded or else I would have slept in my little car! I felt dirty just walking into the place. Now especially since it's a "romantic" room you know people are having sex in there who knows were or on what but that's especially a reason it should be cleaner! I never wanted a "sex" room just a nice room for our 1 year anniversary. You couldn't pay me to go back there!! Oh and one other thing is they WRITE DOWN YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. I don't think that is legal and I asked why they did that and they gave me a snotty look and said it's policy..no that's illegal..who do you think you are writing all my info down with my credit card info on a peice of paper!! I will now be changing my card numbers after being there. You couldn't pay me to sleep there!! 😲🤔😣😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😠😠💩

Wonderful place to stay... Very accommodating staff. Snacks are a nice surprise. Older place but if you want to relax and enjoy to make it a good stay ... the fire place and a jaquzz will take you away. Not far from Lake Geneva . Very affordable. You can even have a fire in a fire pit so bring marshmallows, chocolate, and grams.. then make some Smores mmm .

Musty and moldy room. Tape on wall paper seams. Used our clothes to cover the pillows, the sheets were not clean and had holes in them. Did not stay the second night. We were the only ones in the place, now we see why.
