I knew the manager, Gus Mooney, so I stopped in for the night after my flight to Chicago was cancelled. They must have had half of my flight booked in already. Rooms are a little dated, some handprints on the walls above the bed, but the bed did vibrate which made for a great night sleep.

The vibrating bed was a real treat. And the powder blue rooms were a real visual experience, Even the curtains matched the bed spread. The front desk person was also very helpful. He managed to get me a discount on the discount, so I broke even.

I had to stay here overnight after a cancelled flight. Those nice shower curtain rings were sold to the owner by a guy named Del Griffith, whom he has been good customers with for a long time he told me. That vibrating bed was nice, but the mattress did smell of old beer and Crackerjacks. Owners son Owen and his wife came and picked me up to take me to catch the people train in Stubbeville next day, rather long ride in the back of that pickup and their dog wasn't very friendly.

Decent place. You'll need a major credit card, but they do honor the discount credit cards as well. He'll have to charge you for a double, but with the discount, it'll come out even. Also, bring your own pillow if you're allergic to sponge. Spotty shower service, water shuts off randomly. Transportation options to/from are unconventional.

The front desk clerk, Gus, recommended airport transportation from Doobey’s Taxiola. It wasn’t the most direct route from the airport but it was safer and I really got a better look around town. I mean, there’s nothing to see on the interstate but interstate. The driver was really proud of his town, which is a rare thing these days.

My flight home to Chicago was diverted due to a snow storm and wound up here thanks to helluva shower curtain ring salesman named Del. The owners son was also quite helpful informing that the people train don’t run outta Wichita unless I was a hog or a cattle and that in fact the people train runs outta Stubbeville. His dog was not so helpful, never did get my glove back

The massage mattress smelled of beer and Cracker Jacks. Someone broke into our room and emptied our wallets of cash. That being said, the best damned shower curtain rings I've ever seen. 5 Stars!

We were stranded but a nice gentlemen named Owen and his hardcore wife gave us a lift. I could only give this four stars though because we were not a fan of how they treated their angry dog. Disappointed such a quality establishment is affiliated with questionable locals.
