This is a very economic motel where you get a clean room with double queen size beds, microwave, small fridge, and basic cable for 60$ a night.

I would highly recommend it for those on a budget.

This is a no-frills place. But it's always a real treat when my wife and I come down from Chicago to hang out in the area for a couple of days.

You probably can't book a room here online, but let me tell you, it's worth it to call these guys because you always get to talk to a real person. No matter the time of day or night, just let it ring until someone answers.

I don't have many photos to add here because we probably started going to this place for photography was invented.

These guys have always taking great care of us.

NOTE FOR SUMMERTIME GUESTS: Mosquitoes can get nasty here, so don't leave your room door open longer than necessary.

The owner is very nice and helpful. The room was clean and had all the basics that were needed. The A/C was working well. The parking lot is big enough for the number of rooms. Gas station, liquor store, and a few restaurants are within walking distance. I liked the place!

I booked here for several consecutive weeks during the summer and had an overall positive experience. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were always clean and had pretty much everything I needed for a weekly stay; AC, microwave/fridge, TV, comfortable beds. WiFi was kind of hit or miss, but it worked most of the time. The surrounding area was also a nice place to go on walks. Overall it is a great place to stay.

Hi I just booked a room there. Please teach your front desk associates what a "confirmation number" and "confirmation letter sent to my email" means, it would cut down a lot of confusion. Thank you!

The motel has the best value in the area with super clean rooms. I have came back on a few occasions and everytime, the rooms have been excellent and the staff is one of the most friendliest I have ever encountered. Beds are soft, clean rooms, and convenient close to the freeways. Thank you Braidwood motel for always making me feel like at home.

Last minute we had to find a room for my son and his fiance bridal shower. Thankfully they had a room available. I used to live in Braidwood and it used to be pretty rough...its pretty quaint now, very clean and it smelled very nice. I was about 2.5 hours late arriving but they held the room and were very accommodating. They were nice and I'm so happy the hotel is finally being taken care of. We would definitely stay again.
Oh...the beds were comfortable and the AC was awesome!
