Kevin was very helpful and knowledgeable of things to do in Valdez. He told me about some local trails and had some interesting stories to share of living in the area in the snowy winters.

Overall, a great place to visit to learn about the roadhouses and both free and paid activities in town.

Definitely worth a stop to plan 3-5 days in town. Lots to see even for those on a budget.

Valdez was a great place to visit. The campground was right in the middle of town and so convenient to walk to the shops, bars, food and marina. The Valdez Historical Museum was very informative.
