The Blue Goose Inn was amazing!!! The whole place was really cute with a nice farmhouse vibe. My dad, brother, me, and my two kids stayed in their 2-room suite. Beds were comfy, nice "hangout" space in the bigger bedroom (couch, two tables, microwave/fridge), and the TV's have fire sticks with guest logins on all streaming services. The Inn is right across the rotary from Sunapee (literally a 3 minute drive). Loved it!!!

The location of this Inn can't be beat for proximity to Mount Sunapee we were on the slopes within a few minutes. Although this is listed as a Bed and Breakfast on Tripadvisor and some previous reviewers raved about a great breakfast, that is no longer the case. This is a small affordable no frills place to stay with no breakfast included and charges even for k-cups ($2.00 each) which I didn't realize or would have packed my own as the room did have a refrigerator and microwave. It was small, clean and relatively comfortable.

We stayed in Blue goose inn for 3 days. It was decent but felt like there should have been small light infront of the building and the parking area coz it was too dark and couldn't find a way.

We stayed at the Blue Goose Inn for a ski weekend at Mt. Sunapee. The biggest perks of this inn are it's proximity to the slopes and it's affordability. We were out the door and at the Sunapee parking lot in 5 minutes. The rates were half of what we would have paid at some other nearby hotels, and the ability to have a multi-room suite at that price is unbeatable. That said, there are a few things to be aware of.||||The inn recently came under new ownership and have taken a no-frills approach. It feels somewhere between an inn and an Airbnb that rents individual rooms. The rooms were clean and we had necessary amenities (like linens, towels, and a few toiletries). They no longer serve breakfast, which we knew ahead of time. They do have an array of microwavable and ready-to-eat items available for purchase, but we did not avail ourselves of those. Rooms include microwaves, mini-fridge/freezer, and single-serve Keurig-style coffee maker, but you'll need to either bring or purchase k-cups. Each room also has a small TV with a streaming device with access to live tv (though we couldn't quite figure out how to use that) and the ability to log into your own streaming services, such as Netflix, HBO Max, or Disney+ (just remember to sign out before you leave).||||We stayed in the family suite, which consists of two bedrooms (the Barnacle Goose Room and the Snow Goose Room), a small private bath with shower (no tub), and a a small entry connecting all three. This whole suite is upstairs and separated from the staircase and other upstairs room by a sliding pocket door. Tip: while the sliding pocket door can technically be locked from the inside, one just needs a doing to open it from the outside. It would be more comforting if it locked with a key. This is particularly true because the Barnacle Goose room, which is a more natural fit for kids as it has two twin beds, does not have a lock at all. The Snow Goose Room does have a lock and key, so lock any valuables you have in that room while you're away.||||Aside from that, my only complaints are that the charming size and rustic style means you're in close proximity with other guests, so we could easily hear conversations in other rooms (and I'm sure they heard our little ones bouncing around as well). I also found the number of extension cords surprising; not necessarily unsafe, but different than you might find somewhere with ample well-placed outlets and no doubt the result of the inn's rustic charm.||||At the end of the day, our stay was clean, cozy, enjoyable, and affordable. We took a chance not knowing what to expect, since we couldn't find any reviews from people who stayed after the hotel changed ownership, so hopefully this is helpful to others. I would recommend the Blue Goose Inn for its cleanliness, charm, location, and affordability, with the above caveats noted.

This is the closest possible Inn to Sunapee mountain. The rooms are extremely well thought out with an entire suites for a family of four as well as charming couples suite. The tap runs clean, showers are great, and views are amazing.

But most importantly, the host’s hospitality is unparalleled. Even in how they treat the guests they’re not expecting.

My brother and I made a huge mistake showing up and setting up here instead of our actual Airbnb reservation 8 minutes down the road at the Historic Brook Inn.

As a testament to his character, Rich was not only unexpectedly understanding having two strangers accidentally inhabiting his home, but tried to help us work out our reservation with the other Inn.

Ultimately we needed to pack our things and head to our original reservation, but after having stayed at both we definitely be staying with Rich & Jody in years to come.

We were happy with our stay in the family suite before skiing at Sunapee the next day. Beds were comfortable. It was a little cramped for 4 people but cozy and comfortable. I'm just happy I found this as dragging the AeroBed on ski trips when we book rooms that don't have enough beds for us is a huge pain along with all the ski gear. While it's rustic/ simple, there are nice touches - power strips with USP ports, lots of wall hooks, luxurious soft/ thick towels. Being able to order breakfast foods with Rich bringing it to the room was convenient, as one can never seem have enough food on hand with 2 teenage boys.

Great Bed and Breakfast. Hosts, Ron and Margaret, are wonderful. The breakfast they provide is amazing, the presentation and they are delicious! Our room, Canada Goose was clean and quiet. Very comfortable bed, cable tv and wifi. They also gave us information on different places to kayak, off the beaten path. We will go back, for sure.

Spent two evenings in the Emperor Goose room at the Blue Goose Inn during a February Ski Trip to Mt. Sunapee. Kind and gracious hosts, excellent breakfasts, and wonderful accommodations. Room and bathrooms were clean and well-appointed with modern amenities. Overall, a pleasantly charming and cozy Inn made for a wonderful stay in Newbury, NH. Particularly enjoyed the selection of classic rock playing in the den as well as the afternoon snacks!
