I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Barrington's White House this past weekend, and I can't say enough wonderful things about the experience. The venue beautifully combines a vintage charm with a fresh, modern feel. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout, especially the day-of coordinator (I regret not catching her name!). The food was exceptional—truly one of the best meals I've had at a wedding. If you're looking for an intimate wedding venue in the suburbs, I highly recommend checking out Barrington's White House.

This is an amazing place to have a wedding! Ever since our first phone call, Sharon S. was extremely patient and knowledgeable with us! The prices for rentals are extremely fair and Sharon is a great contact person: always punctual, professional, and extremely patient and kind! She has been a big blessing to my now wife and I. She took us every step of the way to make our wedding a success. She stayed late with us to allow us and help us decorate, and even came on her day off to accommodate us. Sharon and the Barrington White House Crew is phenomenal and I would highly recommend any large gathering.

Large porch with white rockers as you walk up to the door..Through the glass door there is a beautiful chsndelier .Once inside a long set of stairs leads you up to the large room where we enjoyed a nice appreciation. dinner . The room was so beautiful. I didn't really explore the other parts if the house but what I saw was impressive.There is an elevator there in case you cannot use thr stairs.

My wife and I had the privilege of celebrating our wedding reception here in November of 2023, and we believe Barrington’s White House is perhaps the finest venue in the Chicago suburbs. The grounds and architecture of the building itself are stunning, no less the curated interior and intricate woodwork throughout. The layout of the building (ground floor being the cocktail area, upper floor being the party/reception area) is phenomenal, and their state-of-the-art commercial kitchen made meal service a breeze. In fact, our caterer praised us/BWH for having such a nice facility to prepare and serve food (elevator included!) We also really liked having a private bridal suite. Although cozy, we comfortably fit our 125 guests with no issues thanks to Mary, BWH’s event coordinator . She was a cut above the rest and ensured that we would have a great evening, staying in touch with us during the preparation phase, answering all of our questions and setting our minds at ease, working with our numerous vendors, and graciously supporting us in setup/teardown with our vision for adding and fine-tuning decorative arrangements. We would highly recommend the White House and hope you can enjoy your day there, as we did ours. Thank you Mary and BWH team!

We had such a fabulous time celebrating the holiday season at Barrington's White House, located on West Main in Barrington. The concert "Here We Come A-wassailing" performed by the incomparable Bella Voce Camerata was amazing.

This lovely location can require visitors to use the stairs when entering from the front, so be sure to enter from the back door, if you need ADA accommodations. You will find an elevator, as well as sizable bathrooms.

Parking is quite easy, as there is ample public parking just next door. A variety of restaurants are also within easy walking distance. We visited Shakou, just down the block, which was lovely.

I look forward to returning to Barrington's White House for future events. It would also be a lovely location for a smaller wedding or ceremony.

What a venue! Remarkably priced and fantastic location. Beautiful home - refurbished for a variety of events. Perfect for a wedding @ up to 130 or so guests. Staff was so kind and helpful with all our questions.

We had a wedding here, both the ceremony, "cocktail hour" and reception. We took all the photos here as well. Everything went very smoothly, the staff was very good at their job. I enjoyed the hour of socializing and drinks between the wedding and reception, it gave people a chance to socialize with everyone, not just with the people at your table.

Throughout the year I had to plan my wedding at BWH, I had countless people ask me if I was stressed, or comment that I seemed pretty relaxed for planning a wedding. That's because Sharon S. and BWH's recommended vendors make having a wedding here the most seamless and worry free experience. Everyone is so easy and fun to work with and made everything a breeze. Our family and wedding party noted how professional and coordinated everybody was- they run a tight ship! I can't recommend this venue enough, and I am so glad we had our wedding here.
