Barry Community Care Center is the last place that you want your loved one to go if you are looking for a professional and caring environment. My loved one was admitted to this facility due to a terminal illness and they have failed to take care of them in all aspects. Please think twice before taking any of your loved ones to this "nursing home." I can assure you that they care way more about the money they are receiving as opposed to actually taking care of their patients. Your loved one deserves much better than what the Barry Community Care Center could ever provide for them.

I have recently returned home from Barry Community Care Center after 57 days of care and therapy. I was very pleased with the staff, the care and respect that I received. I would recommend BCCC to anyone who is looking for this type of facility; discuss the needs that must be met with their administration and continue from there. Personally, would not consider any other nursing home.

I would literally give zero stars if I could!! I worked agency for this facility and my experience was absolutely horrible. There was definitely a mob mentality with the staff. It definitely felt like they were just trying to get me sent home because they didn’t like me. Almost every nursing staff member texted the administrator telling her I was doing this, that, and the other which was completely untrue. I would never recommend agency nurses come here it is such a toxic environment.

My grandmother was admitted on a Monday. THE NEXT DAY I get a call informing me my grandmother had fallen out of bed over night and had not been checked in FOR 6 HOURS. If you value the safety for your loved one I would really reconsider.

I was at BCC recently for therapy due to having toes amputated. Everyone was very pleasant and caring. The staff joked with you but also listened to your problems. The food was good and you could see they took pride in what they served. I was very impressed with my head nurse and the CNA s on my flóor.". The attention that they to the patient was fantastic. Going back there would not be an issue
