Aurora In Alaska - Fairbanks, Alaska

We tried our luck chasing the Northern Lights with Aurora in Alaska. We took only one day tour on Sep 3rd, 2024 because we had limit time in Fairbanks. The sky was a bit cloudy that night. Mike and team was very kind and very professional during the tour. Van was warm and comfortable. They had a fire pit, hot drinks, and sausages (also reindeer sausages!) while we were waiting for the Northern Lights. Luckily the sky was getting clear and we could see the beautiful vivid Aurora. Mike and team took many awesome photos of them with everyone. This tour was unforgettable for us because we could see the beautiful Aurora in Alaska for the first time on that one day tour. Very recommended!

We had such a great time!! Mike was our tour guide and did not disappoint. From pick up to drop off it was roughly about 10pm-3am. They offered to take as many pictures as you would like, music playing, sausage links to roast over the fire pit and if you need, the car was running with the heater the whole time. We had a good night so we only stayed in one location but they mentioned if it wasn’t, we’d pick up and set camp somewhere else to ensure we get the chance to see the Aurora. Thanks a million for a once in a lifetime experience ☺️

Prescott and Mike truly made the experience of a lifetime! The ride there was enjoyable with fun facts about the aurora as well as hearing about life in Alaska. Prescott was incredibly helpful as he helped change my camera settings to get the best shots of the aurora and even provided a camera tripod. We loved the tour so much we booked it again. Unfortunately we booked with another company months in advanced and the experience was night and day compared to the aurora in Alaska tours.

If you’re looking for a tour that you get more bang for your buck… PLEASE book with them. You won’t regret it. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

We had such an amazing experience! Our tour guide Mike was super friendly, helpful, and punctual. All of the guides were kind and helped us take great photos, and the Northern Lights did not disappoint! The reindeer sausages and hot drink bar was just the cherry on top of the whole night. I would highly recommend seeing the lights with Aurora in Alaska, and would love to book another tour in the future.

Amazing tour with an exceptionally knowledgable and caring guide! Our guide, Andrew, went out of his way to make sure we got every opportunity to view and take photos of wildlife (during the ride up) and auroras (on the ride down), taking intermittent stops along the way. The springs were also out of this world — if only I had captured the red streaks of the aurora while soaking in the springs. Truly a once in a lifetime experience!

Andre and Mike were great. The clouds were heavy and they were able to take us to a spot where we were able to see Aurora. Not her finest appearance but a little show, none the less. The guys were great and the company gave us the odds of seeing Aurora early in the day with the option to cancel.
I will be recommending Aurora in Alaska to others.

Experiencing the Northern Lights is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and we were lucky enough to witness it with the help of Aurora in Alaska. Our guides, Tony and Angel, were outstanding and extremely knowledgeable about Alaska. They shared fun facts throughout the entire experience, making it both educational and entertaining.

Chasing the dancing Northern Lights was a thrilling adventure, despite the uncertainty of cloud coverage. Luckily, our first location was a success, and we were able to witness the beauty of the lights. The stunning surroundings of Fairbanks made the experience unforgettable. We can't say enough about the entire staff, who went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. They even set up cozy fire pits and grilled up delicious reindeer sausages, along with a hot cocoa and water bar.

We highly recommend booking with Aurora in Alaska, as they truly made our experience unforgettable. Thank you and we cannot wait to be back!
