I had a great stay, thanks in large part to one amazing staff member—Rohan—who worked both at the bar and serving food. He was incredibly attentive, made sure I had everything I needed, and was so easy to talk to. He made me feel totally comfortable, like I was catching up with a friend.

People like Rohan make a big difference in a hotel experience, and I’m really grateful for his kindness.

First of all, the hotel is stunning. Modern, beautiful yet cozy, warm, and welcoming. But even more impressive was the staff. We were welcomed by two gentlemen, both named George- and they were both so kind and professional. We had drinks at the bar, and our bartender, Rohan, was such a delight. He chatted with us and made us feel welcome. He was also extremely knowledgeable and recommended a wine that immediately became my new favorite. We will be back- and look forward to seeing the friendly faces of the incredible staff again.

Great hotel if you're running the Runapalooza because you literally walk outside the hotel and the start line is half a block away (it's also super walkable to, of course, the boardwalk and all the amenities there). Very comfortable beds, clean/upscale room and nice staff. WEIRD BATHROOMS and the shower is NOT private so cannot recommend non-couples share a room.

We've stayed here many times; both off season and peak season. The atmosphere is different between the seasons. However, the experience of the stay is always exceptional.

From the front desk staff at check-in, to the pool and room service. They always strive to meet your needs.

I recently stayed at the Asbury Ocean Club Hotel in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and it was an experience that left me both impressed and relaxed. From the moment I arrived, the vibe was upscale yet welcoming—think modern beach luxury with a touch of laid-back Jersey Shore charm. The staff greeted me with a refreshing drink at check-in, which was a nice touch after a long drive, and they were genuinely friendly and attentive throughout my stay.

I was here during off-season to unwind a little and do some heads-down work and the Asbury Ocean Club provided the ideal backdrop to accomplish both. My room was a relaxing refuge, as was the Living Room area of the hotel. The gym and spa were top-notch, and so were a few meals I had (the pappardelle is a can’t-miss!). But it was the staff that helped take things to another level — Rohan, Gio, and Michelle in particular. They were super knowledgeable about their surroundings, warm, and seemed genuinely invested in making sure I had a comfortable and productive stay. I can’t wait to visit again in the summer!

I booked a one-night stay and massage at the hotel over the weekend to relax. A few days before at 8:28 p.m., while I was unwinding from a stressful day, I received a call from an unknown number. Nobody calls me this late. I picked up the phone because I assumed it was an emergency. Someone from the hotel called me at night (!) to confirm my stay. This is beyond disrespectful, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. These are basic etiquette rules, especially when it comes to business.

This situation made me doubt my decision to come to the hotel because I booked it with the intention to relax. I decided to give them a chance and sent an email with my concern to the concierge asking to escalate it. I expected someone to call me the next morning to explain what happened. Instead, I ended up following up after 3 pm the next day inquiring if someone is going to call me during business hours to confirm my stay. Someone called me at around 4 pm. However, my experience has been so unpleasant that I decided not to go there and cancelled. I haven't reached the hotel yet, and I'm already dealing with poor customer service. Instead of relaxing I got added stress.

Stayed in a king suite with partial ocean view and everything was perfect. Went during the off season so it was quiet most days except during a St Patrick’s Day parade. Perfect views, unlimited day and night activities steps away from the boardwalk. High ceilings, soft sheets, great bars and restaurants on premises. Hope to be back soon!
