Booked a morning trip with Capt Nate. He was a total pro from start to finish...even picked us up at a dock that was a short walk from where we were staying on the island. He kept us on fish pretty much the entire time we were out, even on a windy day. Caught plenty of snook and trout. Absolutely a 10/10 experience.

I fished with Nate from AMI Excursions on 2/13/25. We fished numerous spots and caught several snook and a spot tail. He certainly knows the area well. He was very polite and knowledgeable. The boat was very clean and nice. I am including a few photos. The background is not included on the fishing photos. I didn’t want the fishing spots to be known by all. The tail of one fish appears to be missing in photo. It’s not- it just copied that way when I took background out. He does other excursions other than fishing. I will definitely fish w AMI Excursions again.

Every year my friends and I fish in a tournament down in Anna Maria Island. A few years back we found Capt. Nate and AMI Excursions. Ever since then we hire Capt. Nate as our guide each year. He knows the area like the back of his hand and puts us on trout, reds, and snook at the perfect time. I highly recommend AMI Excursions and Capt. Went as a group of 3 in mid February and Captain Nate put us on em right away. We each had caught a good size Snook within 5 minutes of first cast. On a 4 hour trip he put us onto Snook, Speckled Sea Trout, and Flounder - plus a pretty cool Needlfish as bycatch. He was very knowledgeable about not just fish and where to find em, but also the birds, dolphins, and other wildlife we saw. Had previously done guided trips in Maine, Vermont, Tennessee, and Michigan – and Captain Nate was the best yet. 10/10 would recommend.
