Best stay I’ve had in a long time! The cabins are all close together but still felt private and relaxing. The bed was so comfortable, I was almost wishing for a rainy day so I could justifiably spend an afternoon laying around. ||There are tons of hiking trails nearby and if you get hungry, there is a restaurant only steps away from the cabins. I met some of the staff and they were SO friendly and accommodating. Mariah, the bartender was the highlight of my dining experience. She went above and beyond and was so accommodating. ||My favorite thing about this experience was the helicopter tour to the glacier. I’ve never seen anything like it before. The guide, Adam was really friendly and so knowledgeable. He told the group all about the land and was the first to step in and make sure everyone was safe and comfortable. ||I would 100% recommend this to anyone! As a woman solo traveler I felt extremely safe and comfortable.

We stayed in the Alaska Glacier Lodge for one night and had lunch, dinner and breakfast the next morning. The cabins are comfy, with astonishing views over the Knik river and the helicopters from the porch of your cabin. The owners were staying in the cabin next door, and they were so nice to bring a recliner to our cabin for my pregnant wife.

The highlight of our week in Alaska was the helicopter tour from this very same location. The lodge restaurant and helicopter tour check in is in the same building. It was my wife, me and our 2yo. They went above and beyond in communication before our trip, answering questions for the suitability of the tour for a toddler, and they made arrangements to make it easy and enjoyable for him. And we had a blast. We took the one landing tour to keep it short, and it was like being in a different planet. The helicopter driver Ashley was awesome. She explained many features of the glacier and took us to see some moose hanging around lakes on our way back.

Overall, this is a lifetime memory for our family, and I definitely recommend to stay here and do the helicopter tour as part of your Alaska trip.

The word "service" is an unknown concept for this accommodation. At check-in, you are greeted by someone who wants to get rid of you as quickly as possible. Upon entering the simple restaurant, you are informed that the lady is alone and it may take a while before it's your turn (in practice, more than 30 minutes). The quality of the food is very mediocre. The room is not clean. At 7:00 p.m., the Wi-Fi, which was already bad, completely cuts out. At 8:00 p.m., the TV stops working. At 9:00 p.m., the electricity goes out and isn't restored until 4:00 a.m. No explanation is given as to why. The next morning, we informed the reception that we were leaving due to the above reasons and would not be staying the second night. No apologies, no explanation, nothing. The accommodation's publicity mentions how fun it is to watch departing helicopters. That activity is probably their business model. But when you're sitting on your room's terrace and five helicopters take off every 30 minutes from 100 meters away, you quickly get fed up with it.

This is a beautiful lodge with super comfortable and nice cabins. The porch is nice and you have a view of the helicopters, which my children loved. The staff isn't super friendly but the breakfast was great (eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, muffins, fruit, toast). The surrounding area is beautiful. Would recommend!

Rooms were perfectly designed and clean. View was amazing. Restaurant food was delicious. We were able to order our food and take it to our room to enjoy dinner on our front porch. Was extremely glad we took advantage of the helicopter ride to the dog mushing and the glacier landing.

This place is beautiful! The views are amazing, and it’s definitely worth spending a night here. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The cabins are well maintained and adorable. The restaurant on site had good food and service. 1 of the waitresses knew I wanted to see a moose. On her way home from her shift, she came across a moose about 3 miles from the lodge. She returned to the lodge to let me know about the moose and how to find it. She didn’t have to do that, but I’m glad she did because I got to see the moose. Alaska at its finest! Much better than staying in Anchorage!

We stayed two nights and did an epic helicopter hike. Lovely wood cabins. Good location with a superb view! The service is excellent. There are not many food options, but their free breakfast is good - nothing to complain.

Amazing views!! We enjoyed sitting on our porch admiring the view and watching the helicopters leave and come back from tours. The cabin was spacious. The beds were very comfortable, soft fluffy towels in the bathroom. Alaska Glacier Lodge is a great place to stay.
