We had an amazing experience on the BBQ Tasting Tour! Not only did we get to savor a wide variety of mouthwatering barbecue dishes, but we also got a fantastic overview of the city. Our guide Harper was phenomenal—super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of BBQ and the best local spots. The tour took us through the heart of downtown and we got to see some sights while enjoying the food. If you’re visiting, I’d definitely recommend doing this tour at the start of your trip. It’s the perfect way to discover hidden gems and get the lowdown on what to eat while you're in town. This tour was definitely our favorite part about our trip to Memphis!

Road tripped to Memphis with my 15 year old and couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Memphis! Harper was a great tour guide. Super friendly and knowledgeable not only about all things food in Memphis but learned so much of the history. Also, was neat all the different things he pointed out we would of had no idea about just walking along. The walking was just right, no complaints from the teen. Food was amazing everywhere we went, and we checked out 3 places he recommended outside of the tour over the next couple days(all great service and food!). I would recommend def to anyone new to Memphis, I would love to go on one of their other tours if I go back! Thanks Harper for helping us make sweet memories, it was Caleb’s favorite part of the trip!

Harper was our tour guide today and we absolutely loved his explanation of ribs and what makes them competition or family style. He had so many great stories about the history of Memphis I can't choose my favorite. And the best part of the tour was that we felt we got tremendous value. We ate great BBQ and went back to our hotel full, full, full. Book this trip early on in your stay in Memphis so you can fully use the list of restaurant recommendations they will provide after the tour. You won't be disappointed!

My friends and I had a great time on this tour. It was a rainy day so we were worried about the experience but it was fun anyway. We had a good group and the guide was really funny. A couple suggestions is the food didn’t line up perfectly with the tour description on the site, and my friend had to clarify 3x she was allergic to shrimp before they realized she couldn’t have the seafood gumbo.

We did the BBQ tour this week with Harper as our tour guide. It was amazing and a great introduction to the city! We had five food stops (with six dishes, since he brought one to start us off!), and he gave a great history walking tour in between each stop. Highly recommend! This was a great way to see downtown Memphis while trying some delicious food!

I do a food tour in every city I visit, so I have done a lot of food tours. This one, the Tastin Round Town BBQ tour with Harper, was hands down the best I have done. Harper was very knowledgeable about Memphis as well as about bbq. He took us around town and shared with us a lot of history about the places we passed. The restaurants we visited had delicious and plentiful tastings. I don't know if this was typical, but Harper was with us from 2-7 on our tour. Book it! You won't regret it.

We took our yearly sister trip to Memphis and enjoyed a great food tour with our guide Harper. He took us to some great places to eat and gave us alot of good info regarding Memphis. We will be back for some of the restaurants that he recommended that we did not have a chance to visit.

We had a great time learning about the city of Memphis, touring the downtown area, and tasting a variety of delicious foods! Our tour guide was outstanding and incredibly knowledgeable. Take the tour at the very beginning of your trip and you will learn about all the places to go and food to eat while you are in Memphis! Highly recommend!
