Did not stay at the inn, had Sunday brunch at Old Salt. Buffet choices were varied and numerous. We had an 11:00 am reservation for 11 people and they were ready for us.

Buffet had both breakfast and lunch choices. I'm not a big fish eater but those who had the haddock with lobster sauce couldn't say enough good things about. Roast beef was rare and quite tender. Corned beef has was good, bacon, sausages, eggs benedict, waffles, pancakes, the list goes on and on! Pasta dishes, chicken dishes, too many items to list. Our server was very attentive and brought refills of juices and coffee quickly.

If you haven't been, you should go!

Abolutely wonderful Historic Inn and adjoining restaurant. Room was pristine, quiet, private with comfortable bed and linens. Continental breakfast had many options. Coffee and tea service in lobby 24/7. Historic Inn wonderfully updated with modern amenities. Service was top notch from checkin through checkout. Adjoining Old Salt restaurant is one of the best in the area, with great fresh local seafood as well as other selections. This was a trip back in time to colonial New hampshire, but with modern amenities! Best Stay of vacation! Had dinner there each night!

What a fabulous place Lamies is! We have just spent 3 nights here and the staff are so welcoming, it felt more like being at home than at a hotel.||The rooms are spacious and very comfortable beds. Parking was easy and there is little/no traffic noise.||The breakfast was simple but was perfect for our needs. A range of pastries and cereals were on offer, together with muffins and toast. The breakfast was included within our rate.||The restaurant offers a good range of meals, which again were excellent.||We cannot recommend this place enough and we look forward to visiting again next year.

We went for their New Year's Brunch and it was delicious! There was a great variety of food options and it all was fabulous! The waitress was also super friendly. We will be back for sure!

Excellent hotel. Lots of fascinating history, cordial staff, cozy rooms, and the attached restaurant is reasonably priced and delicious. Be like Ike; stay here on your next trip!

Stayed for 2 nights....Cozy room. Comfortable bed, plenty of pillows. Front desk was very professional. Breakfast in the lounge was a real treat. We ate twice at the restaurant. One of the best fish and chips. Will definitely be staying again.

Came with family for dessert to celebrate my mom's birthday. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and we were happy to hum along with live music! We each ordered something different to share - all delicious.
