The curry fish and chips is a surprise, to say the least. It is my new standard for this dish. The Mac and cheese is a pure comfort dish. I also appreciate tap list which includes a good selection of from local breweries.

I wanted to love this place. The food tasted great and the presentation was beautiful. We ordered the Guinness stew and the Dublin burger, as well as the Blarney puffs -which were delicious. There were just two issues that I can't ignore, so they lost a star. We ordered a medium well burger. The burger came out looking dang near raw all throughout the inside. We could not eat most of it, opened it up to show the server, who agreed it was not done and apologized. However, there was no correction and no discount to the bill, despite most of our burger being unedible. I'd forgive a cooking error, but that combined with the lack of a correction at the price we paid, lost them a star.

While we were staying in Nashua for a wedding, my girlfriend and I took the opportunity to drive up to Concord to sightsee and have dinner. We chose the Barley house based on reviews and chat GPT and were not disappointed!

We started with the Blarney Puffs and then we each got a burger. The Puffs were something elseeeeee. Burgers were great though my Oktoberfest special was somewhat over cooked, thought that was probably due to the combination of meats the patty included. Overall we had an amazing time and our server Samantha M was amazing 🙂 thank you and we will recommend to others!

This was my first time visiting Concord and I decided to go to The Barley based on the positive Google reviews. I am glad to say that I made the right choice. I would like to start my review by mentioning how amazing the service was. The waitress was very attentive, extremely friendly, and nice. I ordered the fish and chips, which were both tasty and arrived quickly. The dish came with coleslaw on the side. My table had a pleasant view of the New Hampshire State House and park. The men's restroom was also clean.

I enjoyed the messy, saucy, hangover burger with bacon on a beautiful sunny September day sitting outside. The patty itself tased as if it is pressed with pepper & seasoning, cooked well and the buns are tasty as well.

St Patty’s day birthday celebration we had mussels, Brussel sprouts, soft pretzels, & Blarney Puffs for apps they were terrific, black and tans excellent, dinner hangover burger, special burger, Mac and cheese, corned beef and the Shepard’s pie. Burgers were delicious, Mac and cheese to die for, Shepard’s pie excellent but the corned beef was a little dry probably spent too much time in the warmer. Our server Brando was very good memorized all our orders very personable. Recommend coming back. Cheers.

Got soft pretzels, the lucky charm cocktail and a chicken sandwich! So good! Our waitress was so nice. Highly recommend!

Love the Barley House. Consistent yummy food. We went there for lunch on Valentine’s Day and they had the place decorated and ready to go. The burgers and fries are amazing. The pizza is good for deep dish and I love the fish sandwich. A beer list that will satisfy a Vermonter (yummy IPAs).
