Our room was cozy with a comfortable king-size bed. I liked that it had a fridge and microwave, an extra pillow, and they only charged $10.00 extra for our dog. The bathroom didn't have a shade, just a curtain, so we hung a towel over it for privacy at night. The motel is right along the main route, but we were not bothered by traffic noise, and it is only a couple of miles from restaurants and stores. Yet it is still in a pretty country setting. The manager quickly responded to our concern about a couple fighting next door as we were trying to get to sleep, and they immediately quieted down. We had a good evening and would stay there again.

Excellent stay Memorial Day weekend. We have stayed at the Northern Comfort on several occasions. We recently returned from a Memorial Day weekend getaway. The area was crowded with lots of tourist and ATV riders, but the rooms and motel public areas remained clean and quiet. We had one of the rooms facing the back side. The beds are comfy and the rooms are always clean. I also loved having my morning coffee while visiting the mini goats.

Very simple motel but clean, great location (right off the highway while still quiet), and I loved that there was a little sitting area both in front and in back! We called in on the day of and were able to quickly get a room reserved over the phone. The price felt a little high for the place itself, but it also seemed to be pretty average for the area itself (especially last minute). Checked in easily around 8 that evening and they were very kind! Mini fridge and microwave in the room, but had to ask for a hair dryer and was told there was also an ice machine in the check in area. Definitely recommend!

Adorable rooms (reminds me of a log cabin) , clean, great location, dog friendly, convenient snowmobile access, but the absolute best part about this place is the family who runs it. The owners (Tim and Kelly I think are the names) truly go above and beyond. They are super accommodating and very friendly. They know how to run their business- thats for sure!! I wish I could give this more stars! We will be back!

The motel owners are friendly and the location is very convenient off the main roadway just outside the village of Colebrook. The motel room itself was disgusting from the moment I opened the door my nostrils were hit with a very strong musty odor no doubt originating from the worn nasty carpeting. The mattress was uncomfortable with very flat cheap pillows along with a bed comforter that has seen better days. The room was equipped with a Munchkin sized tiny bathroom with no elbow room to move around. Shower stall had hairs left over from the previous occupant. Overall disappointing experience for the $125 I paid for a one night stay. I wanted to like this motel but the rooms need a severe overhaul. There are much better places to stay while visiting the area (Parson Street Inn).

A cozy little place, with the sweetest family running it. My daughters and I had a relaxing girls weekend. The pool is right outside your door as well as some adorable goats. They also have a few mini cows. It's a perfect little spot for a getaway at the right price. Will definitely come back again and again.
