Traveler beware!! Emails will go unanswered by this company. Questions are asked and do not get addressed. They are willing to work with you, only if you have deep pockets and have NO SHAME putting that in writing. They change the rules of engagement as they see fit. Transfer/No transfer. Prepaid gratuities/no pre-paid gratuities. If you want dishonest and misleading business practices…...do business with Cruise Travel Outlet.

Had a very unpleasant experience in the Salem office. The two woman I spoke with were useless and rude. I was even hung up on. Would never recommend this office.

Never use cruise travel outlet. We used them to book a viking river cruise. Hefty investment. I as the spouse was not involved in any of terms of this agreement and my name was on contract. In the end we lost $9000 + for canceling due to sudden serious health issues. As a couple 65 and older I believe the travel cancelation insurance was not properly explained /stressed to my husband and i should have been involved in the communications/email exchange since my name was on that contract. I would have immediately had us sign up and pay the travel insurance before expiration and/or look at other insurance options. Viking river cruise will never be on our list to travel with or recommened either as they would not even consider a credit for future cuise. This whole ordeal has been so stressful that in combination of my other health issue that reqthat now I need to see a cardio

Starting to look ahead to the time when I can cruise again and I will definitely be connecting with the excellent agents at Cruise travel Outlet.
A veteran of 15 cruises I can attest to the excellent service provided by Cruise Travel Outlet. I have booked through other companies as well as directly with cruise ship companies. Cruise Travel outlet provides service head and shoulders above. Planning is personalized, designed to meet individual needs. Prices are the best available. Communication is easy and fast and consistently with the same person which is a real bonus in my opinion. This company has the capacity to respond quickly to changing needs or special requests.

We booked with this company based on a referral from a friend and the fact that they provide transportation to and from the airport. As we live on Cape Cod which is 90 miles from Logan Airport this seemed great but we encountered problems with flight bookings, time of day and seats as well as connection issues, and the agent was totally unwilling to help or deal with the problem. Everything else handled by Viking which was fine. But would never deal with this company again due to total lack of customer service. Trip was early June 2018

Katy at Cruise Travel Outlet provided excellent customer service when my wife tested positive for Covid 8 days before our NCL cruise. She gave us her undivided attention and promptly followed up with NCL to obtain a full refund. Bravo Katy!!!!
