A fantastic experience, the boat is large with plenty of seating inside and outside. Staff were friendly and informative. We saw lots of dolphins and the Clearwater coastline. It’s not a fast boat ride more of a relaxing leisurely one. The music was great and added to the ambience. Would recommend.

Tour is fun and staff are engaging, but water onboard taste off. They emphasize not to bring any other water/food but I learned after boarding it’s not enforced.
We didn’t see dolphins 🐬 so we were given an opportunity to come back another day and then we seen dolphins!! Book the cruise at the beginning of your trip to avoid a long boat ride with nothing to show for it.

We came here since we got the tampa pass. They were great, I’ve enjoyed their jokes a lot while looking for dolphins. We saw a couple of them, as they were guaranteeing:p nice, friendly crew.

A fantastic crew. Lots of fun, definitely saw Dolphins. The crew was very entertaining and so was the Captain. There is a bar on the boat that is very fair priced. I will be coming back again.

Wonderful experience on our tour today! Captain Steve and his crew were absolutely amazing! Check in and boarding was easy and fast. On board we were able to purchase delicious drinks ( get the captain steve special! ) most importantly we saw SO MANY dolphins!!! Highly recommend this company!!!!

We had a fantastic time on the sunset cruise. Can get a little hectic at check-in and pretty packed. There is not a lot of room on the dock that is connected to the sidewalk, so a full boat is getting packed tight before getting on. Check-in was pretty easy, and you have a chance to upgrade to some drink packages. They load by group, so they can take a photo, and you can purchase for around $10 at the end. Mixed drink bar lower deck and beer only up top. Seats fill up pretty fast, 1st come, 1st get so would arrive a little early. They take a little joy ride before heading to the sunset. You have a guide/bartender that will point out local things, Tom Cruise's, Hulk Hogan's homes, and other landmarks. You also look for dolphins, which we found a few. Great music and dancing. Beautiful way to catch the sunset, and you get a champagne toast. The staff is just wonderful. Make sure to give them a cash tip at the end. It's definitely a fun way to spend an evening with friends and family.

We had a wonderful time on the The Tropics Boat Tours Dolphin Exploration Tour with our three kids! The 1 hour and 45 minutes flew by as we cruised the beautiful waters, and the highlight of the trip was definitely spotting dolphins in their natural habitat. It was such an exciting and memorable experience for the whole family.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour even more enjoyable by sharing interesting facts about the dolphins and the area. The boat was clean, spacious, and well-organized, making it a comfortable ride for everyone.

Our kids absolutely loved it, and it’s a great activity for families looking for a unique way to explore the local wildlife. We highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the area—it’s fun, educational, and a fantastic way to create lasting memories!
