We drove our campervan here to the gravel parking lot the put our kayak in the lake and paddle around. The short gravel road to the lake isn’t too bad. Once you’re in the lake, you’re surrounded with snowcapped mountains and icebergs. It’s an incredible experience to be so close to them.

When we went, you couldn't see all that much because there was still snow ? all over. This made it a tough hike because it was so dang deep! That being said, I had a lot of fun climbing the rocks - it was our own lil adventure ?

Beautiful area. We didn’t kayak because it was cold and windy the day we were there. But I’m sure it’s amazing. It was nice even viewing from shore.

We did a 3 hour kayaking tour with Anadyr Adventures on the lake. It was absolutely spectacular. One of the best tours I took this year. We got to kayak through the ice and go up close to the ice bergs, I recommend to wrap up warm, but it was definitely worth it.
