One of the more popular pieces in town, and has a stairwell to go up inside the mailbox. It’s interesting to say the least going up inside and taking pics from a different vantage point. One you don’t wanna miss on your journey to see all the big things in Casey.

Casey, IL, exit 129 off I-70 is a LITTLE TOWN WITH LOTS OF BIG THINGS. It's a fun place to visit, especially with a family. Most displays are outside and FREE. A few are inside businesses that were not open when we've visited.

We've been there twice, both times on a Sunday, and most places are closed. It's a "faith based community" that believes Sundays are for faith and family. I like the Bible quotes that are displayed throughout town.

There is an ice cream shop, however, next to the mailbox, that has been open both times. And there are a couple fast food places near the highway if you really need food. I want to return on a weekday to eat at the restaurant by the wind chime. It looks like it would be so tasty and cozy.

There are public restrooms open throughout town. Pull up a map online before you visit to help you navigate what you want to see and do. I think there is also a little trolley to take you from one thing to the next. We just park in different locations and walk to the displays clustered in each area.

My sister and I visited in early spring. When we returned in early August, we were pleasantly surprised by all the colorful flowers everywhere. (I included photos of the ones near the wind chime and the rocking chair.)

This was probably my favorite. You can actually mail letters here! I wish I would have known sooner, I'd have sent my mother a postcard.

Slight wait here, there were quite a few people in line to go up and get pictures. Well worth the wait, the views are great, and how could you pass up the opportunity to get a few photos!

The grounds outside this are lovely, too. There's a blue fountain and flowers behind this.

The ice cream place right next to this wasn't open yet, so we missed out on that, but there is one here.

Cute town. The world's biggest chair sign caught my eye on hwy 90 heading east. I checked it out. Casey is a beautiful bucolic little town. I drove around visiting the world's biggest things. Cool, different, interesting. There are some stunning old homes there. As a builder, I was impressed with the styles and architecture. Everybody I met there were good people, friendly and welcoming. I'd come back here if I was in the area.

Really neat town. They had a great marketing idea for tourist with all of the world‘s largest items scattered throughout the town. Lots of photo opportunities and you can rent golf carts to ride around on.

Definitely the biggest mail box I've ever seen!
You can even mail stuff (postage required)!
Missed opportunity for a giant post card and postage stamp though.
