This was a beautiful, relaxing half day float. I booked it about 2 months in advance to do an early October float. The bus ride out to the river was comfortable and scenic. It was a peaceful float and there were incredible views of the canyon. We saw long horn sheep and wild horses. One downside: The guide did go over on our time by 20 minutes, then everyone needed to use the bathroom so we were about 30 minutes late getting back to town, resulting in missing my next planned outing. Overall, this was an amazing adventure and I would highly recommend.

This half day boat tour was awesome! Our guide was really nice, the ride was nice, and the stop at the petroglyphs was really cool. It's not really a rafting trip in the sense you'd think, more of a boat ride up and down the Colorado River.
Our friend Kevin can't swim, so they were quick to offer a life vest for him. Everything went great!

Wow, just wow.

We ended up booking the half day Horseshoe Bend trip as another activity had been cancelled. We were so glad this happened. The trip was amazing.

Franko was our helmsman - and he was superb. The trip, the views and the experience were all 5 Stars.

Be aware, there’s a chance of some serious spray from the front of the boat - depending where you sit and the balance.

Take snacks & a refillable water bottle.

We would most definitely recommend this trip.

We had a half day trip, up and down the Colorado River, the Horseshoe Bend Rafing. We had such a nice trip, with a great guide both on the bus and on the boat. The bus trip first seemed long, but with a great story telling busdriver, it felt like no time. Our guide on the both was a grest guy, lot of knowledge about the area and history. Everyone should take this trip at least one time!

Kale, Billy, Scott, and Franko made our four day river trip magical and an adventure we will surely remember for a lifetime.

When we booked this excursion one year ago in August 2023 for September 2024 I was afraid of what this journey would entail of us physically and mentally.

Wilderness River Adventures (WRA) provided thorough packing lists and guides to ensure we could best prepare for our trips. While we were on the river, we were provided with gourmet (hot!) meals, sleeping bags, and cots at superbly scenic campsites. The cheerful and welcoming demeanor of Kale, Billy, Scott, and Franko made our trip even more memorable!

The team was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating to our groups’ needs and lack of experience when it comes to living in the wilderness. The logistics and supplies for 25 people in the wild for 4 days must have been crazy but the team's execution made it look smooth and flawless from the outside! They were truly instrumental in making this experience amazing for all of us.

If you're contemplating going on this trip and you're usually more of an urban dweller — have no fear. WRA and their team will work their hardest to prepare you for a journey of a lifetime!

Our minds were opened and souls renewed; this trip was undoubtedly an experience of a lifetime! There is more to life than the mundane day-to-day living in a big city. I could tell you more about this trip, or you could find out for yourselves!

Thanks again to Kale, Billy, Scott, and Franko - the spirit of the Canyon and your energy will stay with us forever. ❤️

My husband and I went on the half-day rafting excursion while visiting the area. We weren't sure what to expect but afterwards, we both agreed the excursion was worth every penny. You meet in Page where you have a quick, 10 minute safety meeting before boarding the bus that takes you to Lee's Ferry. The drive it about 45 minutes-1 hour and it is so scenic. Once at Lee's Ferry we boarded our raft. Our tour guide was Scooter and he was hilarious. We loved his sense of humor as well as all of the knowledge he had about the area. You're able to bring food/snacks/drinks and the company does provide water and gatorade if needed. The halfway point takes you to the petroglyphs where you can get out and see them up close. There are also restrooms here if needed. We cannot recommend this excursion enough and it was so worth getting a chance to see Horseshoe Bend from a different vantage point.

Holly was my River Runner and she was great! Super informative and knew the history of the canyons and the bend. Absolutley stunning views!

Definitley reccomend W.R.A. for this scenic trip. As a woman traveling alone I felt safe the entire time and had a memorable time.

The only downside was I wish the guides had a small sign of what company they worked for, because after we got off the bus no one knew where to go. Besides that, it was fantastic.

Thank you Wilderness River Adventures and Holly!
