This cabin hits all the key points that you want in a stay away from home. Comfortable beds, clean, all the kitchen gadgets/cookware needed to prepare a home cooked meal. It’s close to everything Pittsburg has to offer but offers a quiet/serene setting. Snowmobile trails are right out the driveway and there is plenty of space to park all your toys.

This was our second year at Mountain Haven. Leigh and Judy are superb hosts. Mountain Haven is a beautiful home with every amenity you can think of. The house is well kept and very private. We will definitely visit again. I highly recommend.

We stayed at Mountain Haven while on a hiking vacation in the Pittsburg area. What a beautiful place! Very roomy on the main floor with a huge, well-equipped kitchen, big dining area and full bath with laundry. The front of the cabin was divided into three places where you can lounge, watch the large smart tv, quietly read or just look at the view. The downstairs bedroom had plenty of room for our clothes and had a cozy heated king bed. There were just the two of us so we didn’t need the other bedrooms both up and down. Nice deck off the front as well. Location is perfect: far enough from the main roads so very quiet but close enough for necessity shopping or dining out. Finally the wood pellet stoves kept us warm and cozy when the temps dropped and the unexpected snow fell as it can in the north country! We loved this home!

I could not be happier with my stay at the Mountain Haven! Spent one week March 2021. There is still snow! The house is very beautiful, a home far from home, very spacious enough to bring family and friends and have them sleep comfortably. We are a family of 4. Log home is secluded on 20 acres. 300 yards of maintained dirt road leads to the driveway. Pictures match the home. The hosts Leigh and Judy have provided almost everything that you need to enjoy your vacation which helps tremendously. They are are also tremendous people, super friendly and have made my vacation here so amazing. They provided me with recommendations for great places to eat around the area, different activities that I can partake in, as well as just answering any questions I might have during my stay here at the Mountain Haven. I highly recommend snowmobiling if you are here, the trails are amazing and if you’re lucky you might even see a moose... unfortunately I still have not and this is my 3th time being at the Mountain Haven but sooner or later I will. Overall this home couldn’t be more perfect and I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away, get back to nature and enjoy a nice week or weekend with family and friends to book a stay at the Mountain Haven.

This cabin is the coziest I’ve ever stayed in! Truly a one of a kind luxury experience in Pittsburg. It is also super convenient to the trails and all of the local restaurants, while being very private and secluded.

A spacious and comfortable home with modern amenities and a great location. We enjoyed a mid-week stay in the winter and the location provides easy access to the Pittsburg snowmobile trail system without having to trailer to a lot. The rooms are large with comfortable beds, and there is ample living space for large groups to enjoy without feeling crowded. We met with the owners and they are lively, friendly people with great knowledge of the area and were extremely helpful. This is an excellent place to stay in the Pittsburg area and highly recommended for larger groups looking to stay together.

Mountain Haven defines cozy and relaxation! Its a beautiful and secluded log cabin in the northern tip of NH. It provides all the amenities you’d ever need to experience a vacation at your home away from home.
Its a very spacious and equipped home, so with a group of friends/family, everyone is comfortable and isn’t crowded. Many couches and cozy rooms to lounge around in and relax. Perfect for web browsing, reading a book, or playing some card/board games.
The kitchen is large and has alot of counter space, so if you need to cook a large meal you’ll have plenty of space to do so. The kitchen has any sort of tool, appliance, pot, or pan youll need!
Outside the home, theres a firepit with chairs if you choose to have a campfire. Also, immediate access to the snowmobile/UTV trails!
I could go on and on about this perfect cabin. The mountain haven is the perfect vacation getaway-while still feeling at home. You wont have any regrets staying here.

We could not have been happier with our vacation and with the owners. They were wonderful to work with and readily available to assist us with suggestions and advice for excursions. Literally everything they suggested was fantastic and honestly super helpful as we didn't know the area. On a personal note, 2 our of adult "children" have autism and with that comes many challenges. Staying in a remote location that's also big enough for them to have their own space & be themselves was priceless.
