We absolutely fell in love with At Bear Tree’s Property and we specifically stayed in The Glen Lodge, reserving rooms Morning Mist and Ledges. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxing with a beautiful fireplace burning. We had access to use their dining tables, microwave and toaster. Each room was unique with plenty of space, linens and excellent water pressure (and hot!). The views of the stars at night and of the frozen lake during the day were amazing. Chantal and Jane were polite and helpful! Plenty of space for trailer parking and access to the snowmobile trail via lake. We also enjoyed dining at their other property 1 mile down Route 3, Murphy’s Steakhouse - delish. Hope to be back!! They seem very popular so I suggest booking in advance!

Dinner was excellently cooked, the atmosphere was beautiful and cozy and the service was fantastic! Everyone was really friendly, Nora made our night! She was receptive, kind attentive and absolutely adorable. That one's a keeper! Thank you for a wonderful night.

I needed a one night stay during the July 4th holiday weekend - the Bear Tree was the only place in Pittsburg that would accommodate a stay less than three nights. The room I had was fabulous - comfortable, spacious, and with a full bathroom. Booking was easy and the check in was as well. I would highly recommend this place and we will be staying here next time we come to the Great North Woods. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness!

We planned a couples getaway weekend and stayed at the hide away cabin. From the moment we drove down the little side road until we arrived at the cabin I knew we made a great choice! The cabin was PERFECT! It way over exceeded our expectations and was so beautiful. The lake is right there and perfect for ice fishing during the winter. You have so much privacy and literally everything you would ever need right there in the cabin. The cabin was very spacious and absolutely everything I had hoped for and more. For the price we paid it was well worth the trip and we will be for sure going back again! The staff we didn't really have to talk to but when we did they were more then accommodating and helpful! I cannot wait to bring our kids for a visit this summer!

Recently visited and stayed in Cabin # 2. Super cute, great location and very reasonable. If they could change a couple things in this cabin it would make a world of difference. #1 put a queen size bed in the room. One long enough for the folks sleeping in it. #2 change out the love seat that is now brown due to so many ins and outs. The shower is like a tiny Pandora's box. But other than that. No complaints. Maybe add more than 1 channel on the tv and have WIFI.

This is a class act! Our daughter's wedding was held here July 13, 2019. The customer service provided by Chantel and her team is outstanding. Questions are answered immediately, most answers are "Yes,we can do that". They are helpful with ideas and vendor contacts. Their attention to detail is superb; before, during and after the event.

The food was delicious and served hot. We dined on Prime Rib and Stuffed Chicken.
Our guests couldn't believe how beautiful the venue was with breathtaking views of The Connecticut Lakes. They were happy to stay the whole weekend because the costs were very reasonable.
On-site accommodations are clean and spacious with a fun atmosphere. So many guests have told us that this was Best Wedding they've ever attended...and the most beautiful. Thanks Chantal!
We'll be back just to relax and make more memories. Highly recommend At Bear Tree for your wedding!

From the moment you drive down the road to the cabins you are fully aware of the serenity this place has to offer. We stayed at Cabin #2 perfect size for a couple. It was very clean and bright. Fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. The bed and pillows were comfortable which was perfect after a long day of hiking, The location is perfect. We enjoyed the loons on the First Connecticut Lake and watching the Bald Eagle fly overhead. Close to all of the trailheads. Highly recommend this property, I have stayed at another companies cabin in the past and this place is much better! I will be returning to Bear Tree!

I have been to Bear Tree for the past several years and it has become a family favorite summer spot. I have two sons - 18 and 31 and they still want to go on vacation with me - especially when the vacation is to Bear Tree! The location is perfect - nestled in the woods with stunning views of the lake. For the second year in a row, I rented Salmon Leap lodge - one of my sons brought his girlfriend and there was plenty of space for all five of us to spread out and enjoy the property. Our days were filled with hiking, kayaking, golfing (in nearby Colebrook) and the nights were filled with laughter, cooking together, games and ending the evening around the campfire. Nothing tastes better than a hotdog cooked over an open flame, but they have a full kitchen, gas grill and all the amenities you could ask for. One night we decided not to cook and had a delicious meal at Murphy's Steakhouse and the management was highly responsive to any request that we had. If you want to get away from it all and make some lasting memories, Bear Tree Cabins is the place to go!
