We will be back. The inn has an old New England feel that is perfect for the town. Rooms are very comfortable if a little bit small. Bathroom and shower very well set up and all clean. The bar is cool. We had a good breakfast. Portions are big so we split.||The deal clincher - the staff cleaned the snow off our cars!!

The stay was great! Only thing that wasn’t for us was the continental breakfast. If you are looking for a traditional hot breakfast then this is not it. We ended up going to Flamingos Coffee Bar only a few blocks away for breakfast and loved it!

The room was charming and clean! We loved the whole hotel, particularly the cookies and tea by the fireplace - so charming! We also had dinner at the Epoch Restaurant and it was wonderful! We ate at the bar and the staff was friendly, professional and really cool! The cocktails were awesome and the food was excellent!

Rooms and gym are clean, building is beautiful, service was very nice, location is perfect to downtown shops and continental breakfast was great. They even cleaned off the snow from my car! Four stars because the restaurant food was not so great although the service was still good. Great stay for a few nights away and perfect location. Would stay here again. Thank you so much!!

Wonderful historic inn with a fabulous Sunday brunch! The homemade cookies with coffee/tea served each afternoon at 4:00 was a definite plus. Nina was an especially friendly and helpful desk agent. We will definitely stay here again, as our newborn granddaughter lives in the area (with her parents)!

We recently stayed two nights at the Exeter Inn and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. One evening, we ordered dessert via room service and were delighted with the options—peppermint crème brûlée and triple berry cheesecake. We decided to try both, and they were absolutely delicious! The inn also offered a lovely light breakfast each morning, which was a perfect way to start the day. The decor was cozy and inviting, making us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be returning on our next visit to Exeter! Highly recommend.

I’ve stayed at the Exeter Inns many times. They treat me with courtesy and respect. The staff is amazing and the rooms never disappoint. I particularly love having the bar and restaurant readily available.

I can't say enough about the Exeter Inn. Truly. It was all-around delightful. The room was cozy, the lobby and living room were lovely, and the service was perfect. The women at the front desk were so kind and helpful and don't get me started on the 4 o'clock cookies.

I hope to return for a longer stay someday.
