Absolutely amazing team!! Thanks Katie, Christian, and Drew for making it possible to take a trail ride and accommodating us last minute. The views were awesome. The horses were great. My horse truly was an Angel and Ellie was a true trail companion for Jason. It has been a highlight of our trip to Alaska. I highly recommend Sunderland Ranch for anyone wanting an off the beaten path type of excursion, to experience Alaskan life, and to meet great people. Thanks so much.

We had the Best 4 hour horse ride in Alaska at Sunderland Ranch!! Drew was such a good guide, the horses were well trained, scenery was great, seen a moose too!!

Wow! What a ranch. The service, scenery and animals were such a treat. Katie helped my daughter feel comfortable on a horse and we fell in love with Cloud the horse but there were so many to love on. Highly recommend for a true Alaskan ranch experience.

This was a wonderful part of our Alaskan trip. Riding through the beautiful Palmer area and seeing what beauty the longer summer days and sun can bring. Wonderful horses that knew what to do (no experience needed). We brought my mom along who wasn't sure if she would be able to ride due to hip issues. Katie took the time to change out saddles on horses to see if mom could be able to ride. Unfortunately, she could not but allowed her to tour the stables, see the newest foal and got a full refund as well. We will definitely look at doing this again when we return next year. If you do not ride horses often just know you will be sore the next few days....but SO worth it to have this experience.

Excellent place with horse rides, event rentals, zip lines, and beautiful views. Fun place to ride horses. Staff is very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend Sunderland Ranch to anyone looking to ride horses. Views of mountains, hills, valleys, and farmland.

I can not express enough what an amazing experience this was. I have only been horse back riding once in my life, and was very nervous and Drew was an absolute angel!!! She made me feel so happy and comfortable and was the absolute highlight of this entire day. I can’t express what an amazing young woman she is. My family loved this experience and it was all thanks to Drew ♥️

An amazing time at Sunderland Ranch located in Palmer Alaska (50 mins from Anchorage) in a peaceful & tranquil setting. The trail includes picturesque mountainous views, elk, cattle, creek w/young salmon. Sloan, Katie & staff are warm, friendly, very patient with beginners & children. Also the ranch includes a B&B big enough to accommodate a large family & they do birthday parties too. Must do!
