Sandy and Sean are wonderful people, who own two beautiful homes in a very special setting. Sandy and Sean hosted our wedding welcome party at Rustic Gatherings, planned our wedding on our property AND did our wedding catering. I am not a person who likes to plan but Sandy made sure every detail of our very complex wedding weekend was perfect. I do not have enough words to describe the thought and effort they put into
both events to ensure they went off without a hitch. Our welcome party at Rustic Gatherings was intimate and welcoming. Our wedding that Sandy planned, and setup, far exceeded my expectations - it was stunning. We also ended up doing our wedding portraits at Rustic Gatherings and I am so happy with our decision - the scenery behind Rustic Gatherings looks amazing in photos. Rustic Gatherings did the catering for our wedding, and I cannot tell you how many guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever tasted. 6 months later we still have guests commenting on the food. BOOK Rustic Gatherings for your event or wedding, you will not be disappointed.

I wish I could give Sandy and Sean 10 stars. We had our wedding here on 8.26.23. When I first saw this wonderful venue in June of 2022 I knew right away that this was where I wanted to marry my now husband. The homes are absolutely wonderful, so charming - and don’t even get me started on how amazing the barn game room is.
Everyone who attended our wedding said how beautiful the grounds were. Sandy and Sean take pride in these wonderful homes and it shows in every detail.
I found myself to be so sad to leave but knowing it is there for my husband and I to come back to for a future vacation makes me so happy.
Sandy was the most attentive, wonderful planner I could have asked for and the CATERING! OMG! I’ve never had food that was more delicious and I’m being completely honest. Our guests all said the same.
Thank you Sandy and Sean! We could write a novel on how wonderful our time was here. 🩷

We had an amazing wedding weekend at Rustic Gatherings Lodge! The host Sandy went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The house is set up perfectly for a wedding with beautiful views and plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Even though we brought all our own decorations for the wedding, Sandy had a extensive supply of decorations and equipment for us to use as well. There was so much to do in the barn that the 4 kids were entertained the whole weekend. My only complaint was that noise carries between rooms in the house but that is because its an old rustic house. Overall we enjoyed our stay and already discussed going back for another trip in the future!

Me and my wife had our wedding at rustic gatherings this past weekend. We rented both houses on the property and had the weekend catered by sandy and her team. Words can not describe how amazing the entire experience was. Sandy and Sean went above and beyond in every aspect from special touches for our wedding, to coming to the property at 10pm to fix one of the TVs, to providing extra meals to guests with food restrictions at no additional cost. Not only that but when the wind and rain ruined our tents outside, Sandy came through with another venue with less than 4 hours notice. I would rave about the property and decor, but I believe it speaks for itself, it is just amazing. Sandy’s food was the “best wedding food I’ve ever tasted” according to every single one of our guests. I can not say enough about how great this property is, and I highly recommend it for anybody thinking of a rustic wedding, or just a family vacation. This property has everything needed for a wedding and so much more! Thank you again sandy and Sean, you guys are the bees knees!!

Rustic Gatherings is where memories are made. We rented out the lodge and the neighboring guesthouse for our wedding on 10/9/21. Immediately upon arrival, we felt at home. The lodge is of a timeless New England quality - cozy, homespun and full of countless personal touches. From the hot tub to the movie + game rooms, us and our guests fell head over heels for the space. It was difficult to leave!
We also utilized Sandy's catering for our event and people are still talking about the food. Out of this world!
Every amenity at the lodge has been thought out. There are so many places to gather and relax, and the views of the mountains and river are spectacular.
We cannot speak highly enough of Sandy, Sean and their team. They make you feel part of the family and will go the extra mile to make sure your event is exactly what you are envisioning. For example, we brought most of our own decor, but she also allowed us access to her huge supply of wedding decorations!
Our wedding weekend was better than we could have ever dreamed, and we are already planning our return trip.

We stayed at Rustic Gatherings Lodge for a week in April 2022 to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday and hired Sandy (owner) to cater a birthday dinner celebration during our stay, and she did NOT disappoint.
First, she gave us many, many menu options to choose from, and once we had selected the menu, she carefully selected locally-sourced, fresh, grocery items for our dinner. She also provided a delicious and gorgeous birthday cake! On top of this she prepped (above, beyond and outside of our selected menu) some truly delicious appetizers including homemade chips with a Gorgonzola cheese topping (yumm!)
Id highly, and without reservation, recommend Sandy for any catering need, large or small. You won’t be disappointed!

We had such a wonderful experience at this house. We planned a girl's weekend with games, used the hot tub, and even hired Sandra to prepare a nice dinner for us on our last night there. This group LOVED the space, especially the great game/theatre room. It was perfect for our needs.

This place is way more than 5 stars. There aren't words to describe the wonderful experience we had at my son's wedding. The setting was perfect, the food was amazing and Sandy kept everything organized to perfection. Our family will talk about this forever. Thank you so much.
