Wow, Slo is a magical place and I wish we had more time to spend there. Walking into the quality inn suites you know from the lobby it will be a different experience. There is plenty of space in the rooms, a managers happy hour with beer, wine and lemonade for the kids. The pool and hot tub are very close to the bar and it is a very nice sized pool, and the hot tub is hot! The breakfast is great and the staff is super friendly and there is plenty of parking. On some nights there is a BBQ, and on others it is an easy walk downtown for a bunch of food options

From booking to arriving, it was everything expected and read about! Pricing was just right. I like that breakfast was included and breakfast was good and portion was appropriate, it is self - serve coffee/juices/milk, fruits, toast bread, cereal and all buffet style on these items. There are two choices for the main breakfast either a burrito or the whole regular style breakfast of waffles, eggs, bacon/sausage/hash…||The room we had was newer side from the smell of the carpet and updated bathroom. We had a room on the third floor overlooking the pool and had a balcony, although no balcony access. ||The room was comfortable, clean, big enough (two tvs!), microwave / and fridge. If you share with other people, it has a sliding door for privacy between bedroom and living room…I stayed part of the day in one of my stays and I didn’t get bored, it was very relaxing, soft pillows and blanket. The shower pressure was amazing!||The location is great, near freeway but also walking distance to the downtown (monterey st/mission)…but give yourself 10-20 minutes. It’s a safe walk and there are some stores / 711 / cafes along the way. I enjoyed my slo pace walk and felt safe… ||They have nice amenities in the room, shampoo, lotion, condition, and body wash smells good… take advantage of the free drinks in the evening and sitting out in the fire pit.||I would stay here again. It was definitely a Slow weekend in SLO!

There for Cal Poly open house, so rates were tripled? That's lame, but what can you do? Room was clean and fine! Nice to have a pull out couch with four of us in there. Beds were small, two doubles, so it was tight but ok. Happy hour was good with complimentary beer and wine for a couple hours was a bonus. Breakfast also included. Nice pool and hot tub, but should be open early in the morning.

This is an incredible hotel! I am in SLO for work, and this was the absolute best hotel I could have asked to be put up in.

Excellent, complimentary breakfast from 5:30a-9:30a, happy hour & BBQ from 5:30p-7:30p (have to pay for BBQ). Super comfy beds, exceptionally clean rooms. Totally walkable to the entire downtown area. If I’m ever in SLO again, I would stay here no questions asked.

This little hotel has so much heart--home-cooked breakfast, happy hour, laundry machines, a pool + jacuzzi, flowering landscape in which to sit and stroll, and an outdoor BBQ for dinners. The employees and guests are some of the friendliest people--and I really enjoyed getting to know everyone! Plus, it's a quick stroll into town or Cal Poly--both great ways to enjoy the California Sunshine. Be warned: the rooms are bit loud, as they face an interior courtyard and have relatively thin walls. But, the guests are so uniformly chill that people dealt with one another with a lot of kindness and patience.

First, the staff was very friendly and always helpful. we really appreciated the interactions.||Second, this hotel is a very short walk to downtown (5-10 minutes) and was very convenient.||Third, the hotel is pet friendly.||Now some odd news and downsides. The good news is that the rooms are undergoing a new remodel. The bad news, not everything works like it should. Good news: the new layout is fantastic. Bad news: the TV claims one can cast to the TV, but we found out that it only works with Apple products. (We weren't quite ready to run out and buy new phones just to watch HULU.)||Good News: the bed and pillows were very comfortable. No bad news there.||Bad news: there isn't a room safe, which would have been nice.||Good news: there is an on-site laundry, and it is affordable. Plus, laundry detergent can be purchased from the front desk.||Bad news: the construction crews fill the parking lot, but that was acceptable because they parked away from the main entrances.||The best news of all: every night there was a bar-b-que in the courtyard. The food was reasonably priced and the cook was amazing!||I will definitely stay here again.

We’ve stayed at the Quality Suites multiple times, as well at other hotels in SLO, but we keep coming back because you can’t beat the large suites, free breakfast and happy hour. Plus it’s walking distance to both Cal Poly and the downtown. This past stay all the staff went out of their way to keep guests happy- one gentleman saw there was a free table at one of the fireplaces and let us know about it, another evening a maintenance guy brought out a new heater when he noticed one wasn’t working. Folks serving the breakfast were friendly, food is plentiful. It’s a great value for all you get. Plus rooms have received recent update and are clean, beds are comfy. It’s not fancy but it checks all the important boxes!

Great deal place!
The room was fantastic, we rent a room with a small living and it was very comfy and clean, the bed was very comfortable and nice I’ll say the mattress was medium/hard which for my was perfect.

Workers are very friendly and helpful with everything, the breakfast was great! They had a nice small buffet and two big breakfast options one is breakfast burrito and the other one is a normal breakfast with bacon & eggs, they people at the buffet very nice too!

They have a pool and jacuzzi didn’t have the chance to used but seems nice.

Also they have a lot of green are for dogs to do to the bathroom.
