I am leaving a review on my disabled, elderly grandmother's behalf. I highly recommend this place! The location is great. The continental breakfast is good. Service is great. The room was always clean and they even brought my grandmother a flower for mother's day. They always treated her very well each time she stayed. One time, when we were swimming in the pool there were a lot of dead bugs (it's FL) and so we asked if they had a skimmer. Well, the manager was so nice that she went out right away to buy a pool skimmer, came out to skim the pool, and we had a lovely conversation with her while she did so. She apologized and said that pool maintenance had just been there but they must have missed some.

Wonderful experience and the staff truly care.

Don’t let these positive reviews fool you. We got a last minute reservation at 1:00am. We were traveling to Orlando. We get to the room with my 6 year old and 18 month old. It instantly smelled of old, nasty trash. It was honestly hard to breathe. We saw a cockroach on the floor. We instantly went to the front desk. At this point, my kids are crying and we just need a place to stay. The Holiday Inn down the street had a last minute cancellation and we were able to get us there.

It took many attempts (over the course of two weeks) and two discussion with the corporate office. I was able to get my refund from the manager, which is very much appreciated. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you have young children.

Well, this isn't a good story. They were busy, and we got a room pretty quickly, but when we got to the room, it was one of the OMG moments. The toilet was literally floating in feces. I called the manager, she came to the room and said OMG and offered another room, but $0 compensation for the problem after we had lugged all our bags upstairs. Then, after changing rooms the ice machine didn't work. The bathroom was extremely dated and needed updating, especially with a $120 a night fee. Bad experience here.

Hello, my name is Lola, and I purchased a room for 2 days, and it was the worst stay l've ever had in my entire life, and let me tell you why. I was scratching and kept hearing things in my room, felt stuff biting me all night long. I even thought about sleeping on the couch sitting up. The breakfast area was messy, and unprofessional. The staff were rude. A housekeeper tried to fight me, and I threatened to go tell the manager, and she gave me what I wanted. I suggest to not stay here.

The sheets were clean, the staff was personable, and there were no bugs. That's where the positives stop. The room was dingy with walls and ceiling showing years of filth and neglect. The bathroom would have been right at home in the Silence of the Lambs. The tub was dirty with a Walmart-special bathmat. The towels weren't clean. The shower curtain didn't fit the tub, so that made for a nice waterfall effect outside the tub while showering. The shower head was loose and leaking while the tub filler was disconnected from the Home Depot clearance-special wall tile, which was at least newer than the rest of the Reagan-era bathroom fixtures. While the faucet had good water pressure, it didn't fit the sink, which was slow to drain. The GFCI outlet near the sink was broken so the hairdryer that was barely hanging on the wall was unusable. The floors had a level of grime that said, "keep your socks on". The over-bed reading lights didn't work but who needs to read the Shining when you can live it? Also, the phone didn't work - can't call the front desk to complain if you can't call them. That's good thinking right there. The room curtains didn't fully cover the window, which was great considering the overall ambiance was that of a no-tell motel complete with Florida Men wondering around shirtless, cigarettes in hand, and sun-kissed beer bellies on display for all to see. The piece de resistance was the nightstand light which didn't work because the overloaded extension plug was pressed against the bed, just waiting to catch the prison-quality mattress on fire. I've done escape rooms before but never have I been so relieved to escape a room as I was this one.

Room was dirty. Wall had water stains and the bathroom faucet leaked. Mold behind sink and a tv with no sound. The pictures and reviews on the travel website are very misleading. Nasty place
