Got here during lunch hours and was surprised to find some delicious liver I literally jumped with joy within me! Anyways I got that with a whole bunch of veggies and some corn bread ( some may say I look like a cornbread) food was on point ❤️ and I meant to post a pic of my food but I'm fat and ate it immediately.

I'm from Michigan and found this place on google maps. The food was delicious and homemade. I loved the coleslaw, and the carrot and raisin salad. The fried chicken was crispy and not greasy. Very tasty. The collard greens were good. My husband got a piece of fried fish and it was so good. The banana pudding was sweet and fluffy and the cake with white frosting with a candied cherry on top was homemade cake and it was so good. The buffet was clean and well taken care of everything looked fresh. Lastly our waitress was constantly keeping an eye on us to make sure we lacked for nothing!

Good food, good price. Service leaves something to be desired, specifically the greeting, something other than "what are you drinking?" would be nice. Still 5 stars though.

Wretched. Got the breakfast buffet. Tried the gravy first. A weird gelatinous texture that had an unpleasant chemical taste. Biscuit was hard as a rock, no bread flavor at all. Sausage links were mushy and tasteless. Ham was greasy, flat and tough. Scrambled eggs had no taste, they were a mouthful of plastic yellow warmth. What was good? The grits were great, good texture and taste when buttered up and seasoned. Sausage patties were tasty. Bacon was very good, not hard and crunchy nor soft and rubbery. And the Diet Pepsi fountain drink was delicious, not watery or flat like a lot of fountain drinks are. Overall a very bland and underwhelming meal experience. My son who is a cook was with me and he said all the food tasted canned and processed. We were told this location uses Sysco for food supplies, so draw your own conclusions. For years I’ve heard how good the food was here but I understand this business was fairly recently purchased from the long-time owners. This was my first-ever visit here and based on the disappointing quality of the food it will most likely be my last.

I finally found a place that knows how to make real Southern fried chicken, and the buffet has a variety of southern flare to it as well. It's a quaint little place where you can sit in private, or with a group. Feel comfortable, in casual or work clothes, or what you desire. Very Comfortable feel to it. The service Is outstanding!

Everything is canned and premade. Reminded me of continental breakfast at a quality inn.. Biscuit super dry and French toast old. Zero effort from the kitchen but service staff were lovely.

We've been going to Browns for a very long time. The food has always been good. However the restaurant was sold a few months ago and the food is not even close to what it used to be. The once famous fried porkchops are dry and tough now. The veggies are also overcooked. Unfortunately we won't be back. The service is still good.
