This review is being posted roughly a year after my experience with PMI but I had quite the contradictory experience than most it appears. PMI was amazing to my family and I. Karen in particular was the one I had most of my interactions with and she was nothing short of amazing. And even helped us slide on a couple issues that would've been otherwise deal breakers, while we remedied them. Once the owners of one property decided to sell and get us out, Karen worked with us and even recommended to us other properties to move into. Luckily my family and I got into a good spot to buy a house and ended up moving out, but PMI was good to us.

My husband and I rented from May 2024 to November 2024. Our lease was for a year, but we left early due to a job change. They are proactive on getting the house rented back out, which is great so we don’t have to continue paying two different rents.
All communication has been speedy and delightful with Karen and Tim. They are great people who care about the tenants unlike other management companies.
It was clean when we moved in and never had any issues with the house.
After we moved out, Karen was kind enough to meet there after we forgot a few things in the cabinet.
We have not received anything back yet about any charges, but I trust that it will be correct and with good reason behind it.

The apartment was super clean with a new oven fridge when I moved in.They allowed me to move out during the winter so I could buy my first house. The apartment manager Karen was pleasant with all communication often responding within 30min to an 1 hour.

For three weeks. I tried calling, emailing and messaging the poster on Facebook. Y'all never answered. When someone finally picks up the phone I'm told the apartment i was after had been approved for someone else a week ago. Well I had money in hand for two weeks prior to that. So its quite clear you guys ignore who you don't know and save the rentals for your friends and family.

Everything is great except for the fact I need a lower unit. I put my name in immediately to Dani. She told my mom who visits and myself she would be in contact with me once it’s ready. Yesterday I found out from the cleaning lady it’s been rented out. I am like WTH. Not one peep from her and she told me she would be in contact with us. I have no negative complaints about anything else except being ignored by her and she knew I wanted that lower because of knee issues and aging. Lived here for 6 years and take great care of this apartment. Never had issues with maintenance because they are on top of that and fix anything immediately . 5 stars there. Never had issues with rent and you would think they would appreciate that. Again very upset she rented that to someone else when I am 100% sure my name was in before anyone else!

If you're new to town, and looking to rent for a year before buying as we are, these people are amazing to deal with. We dealt with several property management teams, even got approved by a few, but when we expressed an interest in a place, they never called us back. Even after several calls and emails on our part. PMI was accessible if we had a question, we could call and talk to people, instead of waiting for a call back or an email. Even after all is said and done, I was able to get copies of our lease, our ledger for payments and everything associated with our rental. Amazing people to deal with.

My boyfriend and I applied to a property because we have friends who live there who referred us. We were in contact with Dani and she was great, she answered all our questions, sent us the applications (which we completed and sent in shortly after) and we scheduled a showing for the unit. At the showing, Dani made it seem like there would be no problem with us living there, sounded like we pretty much had the unit as she had already looked over our applications. She told us that her supervisor would now have to review the applications, but like I said it sounded like we had the place. After this interaction, we heard NOTHING from Dani for over a month. Our friends, who live in another unit on the same property, told us that it looked like someone was living in the unit we applied for. We were never informed that we weren’t selected/approved for the unit or that someone else got the unit so this was surprising. To our knowledge, Dani’s supervisor was still reviewing our applications. When I tried to reach out to Dani about the status of our applications, my calls and voicemails were ignored. I finally had to text her because we were getting worried. It was now June and we have to be out of our current apartment by mid July, and at this point I had no idea if we had a place to live or not. She told me that the unit we applied for has been rented and our applications were not approved. Why would you not inform someone of this right when it happens? Who knows if she even would've told us at all had I not reached out to her first. She also said there was another unit that would be ready in July and her supervisor would have to re-review our applications, I let her know that we would still be interested in the other unit and asked if there was any way we could be pre-approved or something so when the unit is ready we can just move in. No response. So now we have to scramble for a place to live because the manager has horrible communication skills with her prospective tenants. In the future, I will save myself the headache and be sure to avoid PMI properties altogether. Don’t play with peoples living situation like that.

My wife and I are both high level management. We rented from PMI for almost 4 years. We passed every single yearly inspection. Until this person, Karen, who has multiple horrible reviews on Google came to do an inspection on the property. She made racist comments toward my African American wife that included I don’t know how you people were allowed to live here this long -In front of my children. Falsified a legal documents claiming that we had broke a window that was not broken - And wasn’t even Accounted for as broken in the final inspection all in an effort to evict us because my wife asked her to please finish her inspection and leave after being spoken to in such a disrespectful and racist fashion. The previous woman that did the property inspections was kind and we had a wonderful relationship with her. Then,Karen did the parcial inspection said that the property value on the homes had went up and that we were paying very little rent.
The property was reposted (Unsurprisingly for a greater sum) after they attempted to evict us -Which the judge ruled against. This woman Karen has terrorized other families as well and PMI has done nothing to prevent her from doing so in the future. Especially when some of these allegations against her absolutely warrant disciplinary action. The Reviews are not false. They will charge you a an incredible amount for minor repairs that they should’ve fixed with their own maintenance service per their agreement. We left the property Professionally cleaned (still got the receipts) we had professional carpet cleaning. No damage was done to the property. We were charged $800 for minor repairs. We will never be using them again. Especially after we got to hear the things that they alleged against other families in court during our appearance. Unscrupulous, they will destroy your rental history without remorse.
Do not use them!!!!

Re:Packed with lies? We were given 28 days notice to vacate on the day that we had our yearly inspection. The reason was not given she was asked to FINISH her inspection and leave and she left midway through. We then got told that we had 28 days to vacate (by Karen)during her inspection because Karen was upset at being told to please finish her inspection and leave.
Further racism demonstrates that all Black people must have pit bulls and guns. Yet no Charges wherever filed against us for a gun and we had an incredible relationship with all of our previous neighbors including barbecues and friendly get togethers. I don’t know what they’re talking about. Or else we would be in jail. And nobody in our family owns a pitbull either. This is just more racist slander. We were at the eviction hearing which is where we got to hear the slander they proposed against their other tenants. We did not pay our final months rent so that we could comply with our 28 day notice to leave. We used that money to secure new housing. We had to rehouse ourselves and three children in 28 days. Because Karen was angry and had other tenants lined up to charge more for the property. we were told to comply with the checklist that they gave us which we did and we would not be charged further. We did not go to the Damages hearing because there were no damages and I videotaped the entire house to hold as proof against such a claim. This woman is just downright evil with no consideration or care of how her behavior affects people and their family. Stereotyping us as gun toting Pitbull, owning Black people only helps to substantiate the claim of racism. Their post was probably posted by the same woman who made those racist Remarks in the first place. White, black or Hispanic we love you all and We’ve never played the race card to make ourselves look like victims. She really said the things she said, and she’s a disgusting person morally.
