This was a highlight during our March vacation to Fairbanks. I never could’ve imagined how incredible it would be to spend time with these amazing sled dogs. They were so friendly and willing to snuggle while we waited for our turn to go mushing. The ride itself was so fun and the dogs truly seemed to be enjoying it as much as we did. Can’t recommend this experience enough.

Amazing experience, highly recommend! Leslie and Anna were fantastic and helpful. The dogs were all so cute and sweet, loved to be pet, and were so energetic! The ride was scenic and we got to learn more about the dogs taking us.

Went to Paws for Adventure in October 2024. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about all of their dogs. The dogs are well cared for and excited to take you on a journey. As soon as they see the harness they all begin barking to go. All of the dogs are approachable. We enjoyed our 4 wheeler training run pulled by the dogs. The only thing that would have made it better was waiting till it was colder and doing it in a sled with snow. Recommend.

I would highly recommend Paws for Adventure to a friend! The staff is very hospitable and we greatly enjoyed our sled ride. Our guide, Joey, was very friendly, informative, and knowledgeable about the area and the sport. He even suggested a few local places for us to go on our visit. It was obvious the staff had a passion for the dogs, and that the dogs were well taken care of. After our ride, we spent time petting the other sled dogs, and taking in the view from the nice viewing area/porch there. We had so much fun!

Going dog mushing with Paws for Adventure under the Aurora was an absolute dream come true. Imagine racing through a silent, snowy landscape with the Northern Lights dancing the sky above you it's as magical as it sounds. The dogs were incredible too. They were so kind and smart, and you could really tell they loved being out there, leading the way. It was one of those experiences where everything just felt right. The Northern Lights themselves? Absolutely stunning. There's nothing like the sight of them dancing across the sky. The whole adventure felt like a special secret between me, the dogs, and the night sky. I can't recommend it enough, it was more than just a trip, it was a real highlight of my life.

This is such an amazing adventure! Everyone is super friendly and helpful, and we had a great time! I brought my parents to experience the dog sledding, originally I was worried about the cold wind and the low temperature during the tour - my parents are older - but it turned out great! Not only they provide huge gloves and jackets if you need them, every sledge comes with a huge heavy blanket! We booked the time slot closer to sunset, so the view is awesome too! My boyfriend and I were in Alaska a few years ago and we did dog sledging too but this time the experience is sooooo much better. Definitely will come back again if we return to Alaska in future.

If you love dogs, this is the experience for you! We visited in early November 2022, the snow was not deep enough for the actual sled so we rode in the training vehicle behind the sled dogs. We chose the 30 minute ride and it was so much fun! Maisie was our guide and we learned so much from her. After the ride, we spent another hour, visiting and loving the pups! The dogs are gorgeous and precious. Each one has a different personality. You can tell they are well taken care of and loved. This was one of the highlights of our vacation!
