Cool spot on the river for families. Spots are rather close to one another with no barriers. Not a great section of the river for fishing.

Lovely campground situated on N.H. Vt border. Lots to do in surrounding areas.
Owner was very nice, easy to work with.
Price was great. Sites were grass with water and electric. Sites were level.Nice view of River.
Mostly seasonal rentals but all kept very nice.
Playground, laundry and clean showers.
Would definitely stay again.

Our family has enjoyed this campground. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The kids have enjoyed the swimming pool, playground, and soccer area. The shower and laundry room are well maintained as well as the grounds. They also have WiFi and good phone service here. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to this area.

This is a beautiful area right along the Connecticut river. I’ve been going ever since I was a little kid spending time with my grandparents. The new owners have been very kind and helpful with any request.

This campground is an excellent place to come and relax. The grounds are clean. The owners are super nice folks. Bathroom and laundry facilities are probably the cleanest of any campground I've ever seen. Nice playground for kids and a nice heated saltwater pool. River frontage for boats or kayaks/canoes. It is quiet and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!

When I called the campground, all thing sounded normal. " no reservation needed, just show up, $30 for the night, cash only,"||My gps took me to the address provided, but it was wrong. Called and got directions, not too far to backtrack. I was motorcycle camping. Pulled in and the reception Office/store was closed, actually looked abandoned. Parked and after a few minutes a golf cart pulled up, and I paid my money. Then hi told me the shower) only 1)had no hot water. Too tiara and late to go anywhere else. Set up mu tent and went to the shower/restroom "building. What a dump!. The toilet was one of those plastic RV one you had to pump.The floor was crushed stone, rotted wood everywhere. Dark shower stall with one dim lightbulb that stayed on for about 10 seconds, then darkness fell in the cold shower stall! Looking around the grounds I could see abandoned, overgrown RV trailers. Junk piles and a delapadated barn, used for bingo according to the signs. It was nice to see the place in my rear view mirror the new day.

The Pastures is wonderful place to camp for all ages. We found it to have something for everyone including beautiful, grassy campsites, water and electric hook-ups, sparkling restrooms with free hot showers, a playground, and a salt water pool. But the best part for us was the on premises boat launch providing access to the beautiful Connecticut River for amazing kayaking. Owners Doug and Kim are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They are the best!

We stopped at this campground kind of on accident while we were trying to figure out some truck trouble, and let me tell you, we couldn't have asked for a softer landing. The host was one of the sweetest folks I've ever met, the campground was immaculately cared for, the shower/bathroom/laundry house looked brand new and sparkling. Even the firewood box (that he delivered right to our fire ring) was very thoughtful - it had a number of big logs interspersed with smaller kindling sized pieces and even a big quarter of birch with lots of great bark, perfect for starting fires. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!
