Booked as a solo flight and they were very accommodating! Amazing flight! Some of the most amazing views of knik glacier and nearby canyon with some awesome wildlife views too!! Pilot was awesome and even showed me a great place to break through the ice and jump in!! She had towels at the ready! All of the staff I worked with were very kind and helpful! Definitely a stop you should make when in Alaska!

My daughter and I just had an amazing experience with Outbound Heli. The customer services from start to finish were top notch. Office staff and our pilot were super friendly and accommodating. Hands down the coolest thing I did on my Alaska vacation. Maybe on any vacation. There is nothing like seeing this spectacular scenery from the air, and drinking the coldest and most refreshing water straight off a glacier. Also, everyone from office staff to our pilot were super both super professional and very cool humans.
Expensive, but worth every. single. penny. BOOK IT!

Wow, where do I even begin with this review!? From start to finish it was a phenomenal experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly, our pilot, Tanner was really awesome, skilled and very knowledgeable about the area and the views? Out of this world! Tanner even helped fish my phone out of a glacier crack after it fell out of my pocket. WILD! Needless to say, if I could give this company and experience more stars I totally would. A MUST do!!! Thank you all so much for making our anniversary and first trip to AK so memorable! 20/10 recommend.

Took the heli tour on 09/21. This was my first time and it was truly an amazing experience. Huge thanks to our pilot, Casey, who took very good care of us. We were lucky enough to have seen some of the best views of the Knik glacier, canyons and the valley with amazing fall foliage. We also spotted a bear, a moose and mountain goats. This definitely raised the bar high. Highly recommend this to everyone.

If I could give more stars I would. We’ve been on many adventure excursions across the globe and this is hands down the BEST experience we’ve ever had.
Outbounds communication and coordination (we had two groups) was impeccable from the start. We felt very safe the entire time (have taken tours with other companies and this was by far the best). As portrait photographers we wanted to get some shots while out on the ice and the guides were super helpful with their placement and suggestions while out there. Another favorite feature was our flight path- we took a different route back out so we really got to see a lot of amazing landscapes!
Already planning our trip back for next summer and hopefully more time out on the ice!
PS Emory is an amazing pilot!

Amazing, we used outbound Heli Adventures to bring us and our wedding party to the Knick Glacier. Everyone was helpful and informative. Amory was our pilot, pointed out geological changes in the glacier and wild life. Paige was a tremendous help making sure everything ran smooth.

Staff worked with one person in our wedding party who was very worried about flying. She ended up enjoying her time and we couldn’t be more thankful.

The scenery was gorgeous.

We returned the next day for a paddle boarding adventure. We had a great time. It was different than i expected though. The streams are relatively short and the ponds smaller. Don’t anticipate a long journey down a glacial river like I did. They are constantly changing day to day so you may have a different experience Still worth it and we had a great time with our guide Mitch.

Lastly, be social. The pilots and guides have lots of knowledge along with great stories of their own.
