Travellers, Northern Extremes is a wonderful adventure in the white mountains. We went snowmobiling in the winter. The scenery is breathtaking and magical and the ride is amazing fun. Our tour guide, Richie Vargas, was fantastic. He made sure everyone in the group was properly equipped and knew exactly how to operate the snowmobile before the trip started. We had several check ins to make sure we were all okay with additional stops at scenic overlooks. He made the trip fun and comfortable for all of us. It is an amazing feeling to have the snowy trees whizzing by on the trails. It was a winter wonderland everyone should get to see. Ask for Richie he was excellent. Check it out. We recommend.

Lindsay (our guide) was a blast. She even let my 16 year old zip to the front to get some extra speed in! He had s(n)ow much fun driving his own and my 13 year old and I had a lot of fun on ours! It was our 1st but not last time! We can’t wait to return. Excellent customer service all around. I just wish they had a real bathroom and to update website wording to be clear that a teen with a permit needs to take an 8-hour-off-road-class to get to drive their own snowmobile and that your school does *not provide* a teacher/guide to drive a kid w/o a permit/off-road certificate. A mom with two kids and only one parent is tricky to figure out how to make it all happen.

Really amazing experience! I had never rode a snowmobile before, but our tour guide Joe taught us everything we needed to know about riding them! He took us on a great tour (with stops at good locations for pictures), and it was a very fun trip! Initially I was nervous for it, but the guides and staff made the whole trip feel very safe - I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to do something fun in the winter!

Will as our guide! He was amazing! The views are incredible. Such a perfect day to go out. My kids had a blast. If you’re thinking about snowmobiling this is the place to go! Worth every penny !!

We rented a double kayak for a 3-mile trip. It was our first experience with this company and we very much liked it. They drop you off at one location and then you will get picked up at another location 3 miles down the river. They have tons of equipment, a lot of personnel and experience. Location is great, right on the main street of North Conway, plenty of parking there. The river is nice, water is super clean. There was a bunch of people on Sunday, but not crowded, just enough to not feel alone:)
Overall, very nice experience and we will definitely come back.

This was our second time using Northern Extremes, and again we were not disappointed. We had Richie as our guide this time, and he was awesome. He gives a great tour, safe and fun. He did a great job making sure everyone in the group was good throughout the entire tour. The sleds they have are in great condition. All the employees are super nice and run a great operation. Highly recommend!
