Free cultural center where you can learn about Alaska and its history.

You get a deep dive into the lifestyles they live, the sustainability, the oil fields, and then life before that.

Great exhibit for kids and adults to learn about Fairbanks. There were also local vendors there selling goods so you can support them.

First, it's free. Great displays portraying numerous outdoors' and historical settings. Very entertaining! And there's lots of brochures telling about things to do in the area as well as throughout the state.

Great free museum to learn more about Alaska and their indigenous culture.

There are films to watch and a gift shop.

It's next to the Chena river and grounds to have a picnic or enjoy the time outside.

You can ask for a certificate for visiting the Artic circle and seeing the aurora borealis.

This is a must

First off, Alaska is hot, and this place has air conditioning ? it's free, and they have an awesome scavenger hunt / Geocache! If you don't know what that is, just go ask them at the front desk for the Geocache sheet and spend some time solving it with the family
