We had the best time at Meadow Farms with Doug and Janet! The most beautiful home and surroundings. They really made us feel so welcome that we didn't want to leave! We could have talked with them forever. The house is beautifully decorated and Janet's attention to detail in the full service breakfast is unmatched anywhere. We cant say enough about it! If you are looking for a nice relaxing place to stay we highly recommend Doug and Janet's Meadow Farm Bed and Breakfast! THANK YOU AGAIN DOUG AND JANET! 💗

I was trying to think of the best word to describe the Meadow Farm and I finally decided on heavenly! The building is hundreds of years old and lovingly restored and keeps it's historical charm. Every room looks like the most perfect old New England Bed & Breakfast you can imagine. Speaking of breakfast, Janet served a wonderful breakfast in the beautiful dining room with great coffee and I really enjoyed talking to the other guests at the table in addition to the owners, Doug & Janet. The bedroom was so cozy, I actually got a good night's sleep which I rarely do when traveling. There are beautiful flower gardens and horse pastures surrounding the home. The best feature might be their dock and canoes on the pond (more like a lake) which I took full advantage of! The price I paid was more than reasonable considering my room had air conditioning and a bathroom and plenty of interesting books to browse through. Thank you Doug & Janet!

Doug and Janet are exceptional hosts with an authentic, lovely B&B. The rooms were very well decorated with artifacts and antiques that truly added character to this historic home. Although this is clearly a historic home it has been restored and has modern amenities like new baths. They had a full house when we were guests and it was still quiet and very private. Breakfast was exceptional - we have stayed at B&B's all over including a recent trip to Ireland and this breakfast was top notch. The grounds were amazing - we ventured out and met the horses, hens and played with Darby - their energetic terrier and even took a short walk to the lake. Janet and Doug took great care, answered all of our questions and told great stories - they truly seem very happy to be our hosts. A great experience - thank you!

It doesn't get any more "New Englandy" that this place. Had a wonderful time conversing with both Janet and Doug. I stayed in the cozy Weaving Room, and the feel and atmosphere of the room is just so wonderful. It just feels so historic and quaint. I really did not want to (ever) leave. Even just walking down the quaint country road in the morning in front of the inn is such a perfect activity to pass the time. Janet and Doug, you truly have a special inn, and I hope to one day visit again!

From the moment we walked into Doug and Janet's B& B, we felt at home-- the house exudes warmth and charm, as did our hosts. The home is beautifully, thoughtfully, honestly restored; everything was perfectly quaint, meticulous and warm. We cannot say enough about our hosts ( Darby included)--- 5 star breakfast, and we even got to meet the hens who so willingly provided their eggs. The grounds are spacious; the short walk down to the lake to swim, walk, loon watch, canoe was absolutely lovely. And I loved the rhythm Janet and Doug's have established for being attentive, not hovering; welcoming when we came home but sensitive to our needs to have down time. Being so centrally lcoated we were able to enjoy shopping trips to Kennebunkport and Portsmouth; Whale watching out of Rye, Kayaking in Concord, sightseeing at the Nubble Lighthouse, fine dining in Manchester and visiting friends in Milford. What an amazing home here at MeadowFarm-- Doug and Janet, thank you ever so much!

Friendly, attentive hosts in a beautifully restored colonial put this venue at the top of our list for future visits to the area. Breakfasts are outstanding. The inn is comfortable and well furnished with period pieces and decor. Janet & Doug make every effort to see that your stay is exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to the next one.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, rural B&B, with an amazing amount of history. The only issue (which may or may not be an issue for other guests) is that the bed in the Weaving Room is seriously firm/hard. The hosts are very gracious, breakfasts were really good, and the country setting is ideal for relaxing. The nearby pond should be a great place to swim in the summer.

We stayed at the Meadow Farm Bed and Breakfast as a quick weekend getaway. It is a 1700's home lovingly restored and surrounded by fields and woods. Quiet and warm, it is the perfect place to recharge. The inn has 3 guestrooms - two upstairs and one downstairs so you will not be inundated with other inn guests while staying. Doug, the owner, was our "keeper" for the weekend and was a wonderful host and chef. We so enjoyed our conversations with him and his wonderful breakfasts. No buffet food here - all is cooked to order. We had homemade blueberry pancakes, breakfast bismarks, perfectly cooked bacon, juice and all the coffee we could want. Breakfast is served in the dining room across from the original brick fireplace. This inn is located convenient to all antique shops on Route 4. There are no tv's in the rooms (which actually made the recharge much easier) but plenty of WiFi. Couldn't have asked for a better time and wished we had more time to stay. We will most definitely be back.
