Even with less-than-perfect weather, the Grand Canyon was absolutely incredible. The scale and beauty of the landscape are hard to describe – it truly takes your breath away. Clouds and fog actually added a dramatic atmosphere that made the views feel even more powerful. Visibility came and went, but when the canyon opened up, it was unforgettable. The colors, the layers, and the depth are like something out of a painting. The facilities were well maintained, and there were plenty of viewpoints to explore. It’s one of those places that lives up to its reputation no matter the conditions. A must-visit destination that leaves a lasting impression in any weather.

Unforgettable experience – a true highlight of our US trip
The Grand Canyon was hands down the highlight of our entire trip to the US. It’s one of the most awe-inspiring natural wonders I’ve ever visited. We started at Mather Point, which is an incredible viewing spot—you can honestly spend hours just admiring the view from there.

From Mather Point, we began our hike along the Rim Trail, which took us about two hours to complete. The trail is easy to follow and offers constant views of the canyon, with plenty of photo opportunities along the way. The changing light and perspectives make every section unique. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Grand Canyon—even if you’re not into intense hiking, this trail is a must-do.

Mather Point at the Grand Canyon is absolutely breathtaking! The panoramic views are stunning, with layers of red, orange, and purple rock stretching as far as the eye can see. It’s one of the most accessible and popular viewpoints on the South Rim, and for good reason—you get an incredible sense of the canyon’s scale and beauty from here. We visited on a partly cloudy day, and the way the light danced across the cliffs made it even more spectacular. Highly recommend stopping here, especially for first-time visitors—it’s a perfect introduction to the Grand Canyon!

Simple access from the Visitor Center parking lot. Walking to Mather Point from the walkway, you climb a small rim, which suddenly opens the E TIRE Grand Ca you to you! Simply amazing! And if you've ever been to see the Grand Canyon yourself, O picture you have EVER seen of the Canyon does it justice. It IS Grand.

This was my first time visiting the Grand Canyon South Rin, and it was really magnificent and beautiful. However, it was very cold that day because of the strong wind and rain, and the altitude was high. I saw a rainbow here and there due to the water mist. It’s not easy to see a rainbow, but in a way, I was lucky to see one.

Mather Point is one of the most iconic and easily accessible viewpoints at the Grand Canyon, and for good reason. The views are absolutely stunning, offering a vast, panoramic look into the heart of the canyon. It’s a great spot to catch sunrise or sunset, though it can get crowded during those times. It’s just a short walk from the visitor center, so it’s perfect for a first stop or a quick visit.

This was our first peak of the canyon and we were left speechless. There is a large area to walk down and stare in awe at the canyon. Bring your binoculars to enjoy a close up of the canyon.

We had a beautiful sunset during the first week of April. It was very cold at evening and night. Less crowded on weekdays. Must visit this beautiful place. A car fee is required when you enter 35$
