We talked with the kennel keeper for a while. He had been to many many national parks around the country. He was very helpful in directions, explaining many aspects of the park that we didn’t know. Our pups enjoyed it too.

We left our black Lab in the care of Grand Canyon Kennel for two days while we hiked at the park. She was well taken care of by Karin and Alyssa, who even made time to play fetch with her. Although a basic kennel, the place is clean, safe and quiet and has shaded space where the dogs can go out a few times a day. Unlike many kennels, this one has some flexibility on drop-off and pick-up times, which was a nice bonus. This is a great service for visitors to the national park, and the rates are reasonable. We’d use them again.

Reasonably priced and friendly staff. The kennel is bare bones. Each dog gets their own run with access to outdoors and an indoor area for the night. People who work here were great with our senior lab who we decided to board at the last minute. They can give medications without extra charge too. My dog spent two nights here as we couldn't find dog friendly accommodations within our budget.

The structure is similar to a shelter, but there is plenty of room in the kennels. The kennels have a door for access to outside.

The staff was wonderful! We forgot the bedding for our dogs and the staff had a couple of nice fleece blankets for them. Cheap rates and we did make a reservation. Great way to enjoy vacation with your pets while you ride the train. We are glad they didn’t have to stay in their crates all day.

It is a basic kennel. There was a lot of dogs barking and my rescue dog got overwhelmed. He was in his own run and separated from other dogs. I called multiple times before the hike to see if it was working out. I got a call later that he was charging at the bigger dogs pens when she took him out. I had to come back and get him. I was charged the full amount even though he was there for less than an hour. Ridiculous. This ruined my plans for hiking. If your dog has absolutely NO separation anxiety and is not a rescue it should be fine.

A great setup and extremely affordable. Flexible in keeping our dog away from other dogs and making sure they are conscientious of the weather. We look forward to leaving our pup here overnight next trip!

At first, I was unsure about leaving my dog. The kennel is very basic. However, there was no smell and everything was clean. The attendant encouraged me to leave my dog's mat, which was elevated off of the floor on a small wooden pallet. Reservations are recommended to ensure a spot for your pet

The two people working there were extremely helpful, professional and genuinely cared about our dogs mojo (basset hound) and Dexter (lab mix). They were even cool about how mojo barks VERY loudly. We will definitely take our dogs here again when we come back!!
