Went on the Georgetown foodie tour in early May and had the best time! I loved going to spots that were off of the main street and haven’t heard or been. The food portions were surprisingly large (I was expecting just a bite from each place), but you get a full plate! I even brought home left overs! It was a great way to try foods I wouldn’t typically order for myself as well! Not only was it a good tour, but the tour guide did a phenomenal job explaining various historical and architectural facts throughout the streets! I had so much fun learning about the city I now call home and I can’t wait to share them with my friends and family when they visit! I went for my birthday and it was the best gift, but also recommended if you are a local wanting to learn more about DC (our entire group were locals and we all learned something new), but it would also be a great experience if you are a visitor/tourist as it’s a great way to learn about the city and try the best foods! 10/10 recommend and I can’t wait to try out the other events!

I had a food and history tour of Georgetown with this company recently. It was well run. Portions were generous and varied. Jacob, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and very thoughtful about keeping us comfortable and not rushing us. I appreciated being able to try several places in a safe group. The brisket slider from City Sliders was one of my favorites! I would definitely do a tour with this company again!

Wow! What a great experience and fun birthday tour. We had a 2-hour private tour of "Off the Beaten Path Georgetown" and it was perfect for our group. Many great fun facts and delicious bites!

Our tour guide, Jacob, was great. From the first moment, he made us feel comfortable being ourselves, sharing our pronouns and easily accommodating our dietary restrictions. 10/10 would recommend Mangia for your next food experience!

Do this tour!!! So good. Brian, the tour guide, really knows his stuff. He’s very warm, welcoming, informative and entertaining. The tour itself was pleasantly surprising as I did not know much about Georgetown prior to coming. The four stops for food were SO good, especially at City Sliders. You will not be disappointed. 10/10.

This food tour was wonderful—Even in the rain! Loved trying all of the different foods and enjoying our walk around Georgetown. We also learned a lot of interesting historical facts from our tour guide, Brian. Will definitely recommend this tour to others in the future 👍

What a fantastic experience! I booked this to show my visitors from Canada a view of Georgetown that I couldn't provide myself and I was NOT disappointed. Our tour guide, Elizabeth, was a few minutes late due to a medical emergency; both she and the company's owner kept us aware and informed to alleviate any concern. Elizabeth was friendly, energetic, and very knowledgeable; she knew all the elements of the guided tour very well and was skilled at fielding questions beyond that. The food stops were all consistently excellent! I've lived in the DC area for 20 years and all four places were new to me and had delicious food and service. All the logistics were super well organized and we definitely left feeling full of both food and knowledge of the area. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone, including locals! Just a really fun and informative afternoon. Big thanks to Mangia DC and Elizabeth!
