Barry is THE BEST! He customized our tour to be part kid fun, part hidden treasures of DC and my kids (5 & 10) loved it so much they were devastated we couldn't go again the next day. My daughter cried at the thought of not seeing Barry again. It was a fun and efficient way to maximize the one afternoon we had in town and perfect for grandma's tired legs. 10 out of 10!

Our tour guide Barry from Adventure DC tricycle tours was very helpful from the planning of the tour to the tour execution. He also moved up our tour by a few hours so we could miss the afternoon forecasted rain. We have two tweens (10&12) and we picked the SCOOTER TOUR. They LOVED it. In three hours we got checked out on our scooters to make sure everyone was comfortable riding, stopped to load up our drink holders with water, and travelled the entire mall stopping to see the Washington Monument, White House (with surprise Presidential take off from the south lawn in Marine One), Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, MLK Memorial, Korean War Memorial, WWII Memorial, and the Capitol. The rain started coming down in the last 15 minutes and Barry had his team ready with a van to pick up the scooters right in front of our hotel so we didn’t have to walk back in the rain. He shared some surprise gifts with our kids, took amazing family photos of us and was so knowledgeable. What a gem! Our kids asked to go again tomorrow. That is high praise. Take a tour with Barry and it will be the highlight of any family trip to D.C.

Best scooter tour I have been on, and I have been on quite a few around the world :). Our tour guide Barry was the best, he took us to all the popular monuments and catered the tour to our kids, and even gave us little souvenirs and a really cool map of the places we went to. 3/4 of us rode seated escooters and one of us chose the standing escooter, they also offer ebikes. We all loved the tour!

I can’t recommend Barry and Adventure DC tours enough! We booked a tricycle tour to see the monuments and memorials with our children, and it was absolutely unforgettable and the highlight of our family’s trip! A fun family outing became pure magic and a core memory for all of us because of Barry! We learned so much and saw more than we ever could otherwise, but just meeting Barry and spending the afternoon with him was a gift. His kindness, beautiful spirit, and ease with our children endeared him to us within seconds of meeting, and I am quite certain they will be asking after him for many years to come! I feel so lucky that we found him and know we will be back one day.

I brought my two young sons (4&6) to DC for the first time, and I thought they might like a tricycle tour. Our guide was helpful and SUPER accommodating with me and my boys, he was easy to schedule and even helped me find a parking spot. He tailored the tour to our family's needs, and made each stop fun and interesting for young children, we truly couldn't have asked for a better experience! We all had such a BLAST!
It was a little chilly, but our guide was so entertaining we barely noticed the chill. My boys enjoyed our tour more than I expected; he really did have them cracking up the whole time weaving silly jokes and goofy antics in with fun facts about DC. I don't even think they realized how much they were learning. He even took some phenomenally silly photos for us, he knew the best spots for kids pictures.

Our guide was funny, he told us jokes that made us laugh. Going down the hill really fast was thrilling! I liked the things he brought us to see. My favorite stop along our tour was the Treasury. Our guide was hilarious, I want to go back to DC again. He must be a mushroom, because he's such a FUNGI!

From my 4 year old:
My favorite thing that we saw was that bird sculpture. I liked it when he peddled really fast, and he was pretending we were going to eat him up, that made me laugh a lot. Our guide told good jokes, he was funny.

After walking around downtown DC all day on one of the hottest days this summer, we had the ABSOLUTE PRIVILEDGE of taking an evening tricycle tour with Barry and Adventure DC Tricycle tours. Barry took us out during the "golden hour" and drove us around to see all the monuments lit up after sunset. It was truly magical!! We had seen most of the sites earlier in the day but not like this. Barry customized the tour based on what WE wanted to see and added in his own little hidden gems that ended up being some of our favorite parts of the whole evening. The "limo cab" of the tricycle very comfortably seated our family of four and left plenty of room for our pup Lilly to join us. Barry provided water for us and Lilly and even offered to stay with her while we walked up to some of the monuments. This is 100% the BEST way to see DC, with or without a pup! Barry's knowledge of DC history and facts and the best places to see off the beaten path made this tour the highlight of our time in the Capital. I seriously cannot recommend this enough!
