gmailhotelbuenavistaslo.com, [email protected]||To managers,||||I was a guest at your hotel from 10/19/24—10/23/24; I had a very bad experience and was hoping that the General Manager (Diana Zuniga) would be able to speak to or respect me as a customer. I have been in the hospitality business for over 30 years, and she is the worst!||10/19/24 Checked in, late arrival, which I called to inform. Went to room and keys would not work- tried 3-4 times; called the front desk, they came and had to force the door. Inside lock would not lock.||10/20/24 Second evening, same problem as above on 10/19/24; inside lock would not lock. Forced the door.||Found spiders in the living area, bathroom, and windows. (I had been bitten by spiders in the past.)||Spiders all over the place, I found the web in the second window; asked the front desk to please have housekeeping clean; Housekeeping told me to talk to front desk. We went out for a few hours; nothing was done.||I took pictures of Spider Web. (I have these if you need).||No face clothes or hand towels in room. I went to the front desk to obtain. The hair dryer would not work. (Have picture of this as well).||Went to put hand towel on ring and the whole thing fell off; Asked front desk to have maintenance handle; No one was on duty this day, they were off.||Spoke again to front desk, they moved me to next unit 121; guess what door worked, lock worked, no spiders.||The only thing I found was the sink in the bathroom drains extremely slowly. Spoke to front desk about this as well.||10/22/24 Went out for the day, came back to No Hot Water on my section of units. (Front desk gave me an option of moving again or using another unit for a shower, which I did. (Used Unit 334)||I was disappointed once again; the front desk gave me a key to another unit so I could take a shower as I was leaving the next day.||Asked at the front desk for the General Manager’s name and they were cordial to accommodate me.||Upon checking out the manager was rude, disrespectful, and degrading. She stated that she remembered me from a previous stay, and I had a spider problem previously.||I spoke up and stated that I wanted to clear the air, I had never been here previously, and she was confusing me with someone else.|| I was from the State of Maine and did a lot of research as to which hotel to stay in. The website is not what I encountered. The pool was not heated as stated on the website.||I thought she would have compensated me some from the problems I encountered. No she treated me with disrespect and she should not be in business.||I will put a review on your website, and it will not be nice!||Sincerely,||||Nancy Roderick

The Hotel Buena Vista is for the frugal traveler who doesn't care about sharing their vacation pics on Instagram. The executive rooms in the back building do the job of providing a place to sleep, shower, and microwave a burrito from the nearby 7-11. Our room (the executive 2 queen) seems to be recently updated, but not stylishly.. Maybe better lighting would help.

Nice place. We had a very spacious room. The Executive Queen. I loved how clean it was! The furniture needs updating.Great hair dryer.
Nice to have small refrigerator w/freezer. Good value for the price! We would stay here again. Just don't expect fancy. I'll take really clean over fancy any day!

This hotel is really awful and I’m not sure how they can charge what they do. I tried multiple rooms and they all had mold issues, or water damage on the ceiling, or weird smells. The front desk staff was helpful. I gave it a shot on a busy weekend due to some good reviews, but I would avoid this motel for sure after seeing the rooms.

My experience was fine, in line with what I expected for the cheaper price. Convenient location right off the freeway. One outlet in the room wasn't working. Had a lot of noise from other guests outside my room in the morning, as it was near the eating area for the breakfast, but earplugs worked fine to address it. Mattress was in need of replacement, one side drastically broken in more than the other. Employees were great, knowledgeable and helpful with my requests. Hot tub wasn't very hot.

The vibe of the hotel was pleasant and quaint. Swimming pool was a little shaded and the rooms had a home sort of feeling. There was a small kitchen with microwave and cupboards, sink and fridge. The balcony made me feel like I was in an apartment, although my room was all the way in the back part of the hotel and the view was partially the freeway and otherwise heavily shaded by trees. I was hoping to be a little closer to downtown but the walk wasn't terrible. The Continental breakfast wasn't bad. Overall I wouldn't be opposed to staying again, it was a unique experience.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. There was a slight miscommunication because my group decided to extend our stay on the front side (arrive 1 day earlier). Unfortunately, this was not communicated effectively with other staff because the following morning after our first day the housekeeper knocked on the door after 12 noon and was surprised to find people in the room (after check out time). I explained that we have the room booked for another 2 days. Then about 10 minutes later, a front desk staff came knocking on our door. Once again, I explained we have the room booked for two more days. Do I need to go down to the front desk so we can settle this?, I asked. She said, not it's okay. Then I didn't hear back from them again. I figured, ah they communicated what happened. No biggie. Anyway, the room was clean. Shower was good. Bed was comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were inviting and we would have definitely used them if we had time. The hotel is right off the highway so it was easy to get on and off it. There is a gas station across that is open 24/7 so that was nice. There are also many restaurants nearby, within walking distance if you are willing.

The quality of the employees is outstanding! I specifically enjoyed how the employee on 12/25/2016 let us choose the room. There are two buildings - the front building is closer to the pool and hot tub (by the way the hot tub is amazing!) and the back building is newer and more renovated. I would highly recommend to take a trip to the pool and hot tub during your stay. The rooms were great. There was a kitchen and bathroom. The two beds were separated by a room, except in one of the rooms there was no heater - but leaving the door open it was warm. I stayed in Room 108 and definitely give it five stars. 👍
