I spent two nights at the Lodge in SLO. I did a lot of research before making my decision. Check in was a breeze and my room was very lovely with a rustic/modern feel to it. The Lodge is located within easy walking distance to the downtown area. Piping hot coffee and fresh breakfast pastries are delivered to each door in the morning! I would most definitely stay here again if visiting the area!

Sean was very sweet and helped make the check-in process easy! The staff is so warm and welcoming. The rooms are gorgeous. My favorite thing about this hotel is the warm pastries and coffee in the morning! This is my go-to hotel in SLO and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in SLO!

Quaint, warm and inviting boutique hotel. We drove up from San Diego to see our son at CAL POLY SLO. We have stayed at several hotels over the past 2 years, but this was by far our favorite. The rooms are beautiful, and cozy. We were in the double bed room with a fireplace. They deliver coffee in a Stanley thermos each morning in a bag you get to keep with fresh pastries from SLO bake. The coffee and pastries were delicious. After checkout they give you a bag with homemade caramels. Most of the hotels are around the same price, so these added, extra touches is why we will be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Add this to your list for SLO places - Cute rooms. Spacious. Quiet. Nice amenities in the morning delivered to your door (fresh coffee/fresh local pastries). Staff is super friendly and they keep this place squeaky clean. Close to CalPoly and downtown SLO with bikes available if you felt like exploring without your car.

Fabulous little hotel. Great customer service. Big rooms and clean. Very close to Cal Poly SLO. Right off the freeway and everything is in walking distance. Recently renovated rooms and grounds. Bag with coffee and breakfast muffins, croissants delivered every morning.

We stayed here one night and were very happy. The room is spacious and has a gas fireplace. It was very quiet and well decorated with plenty of space in the room and the bathroom. They deliver coffee and pastries in the morning, which was quite a fun surprise. We walked downtown for dinner - took about 20 minutes and was quite a nice walk.

San Luis Creek Lodge is a hidden gem. We loved the fresh treats delivered to our room each morning – a perfect way to start the day. The Aesop toiletries were a nice touch, and the modern, clean design of the hotel made it feel so welcoming. It’s a cozy, stylish spot that’s definitely worth a stay.

This was a quick one-night stay but I loved it! It's a (very nice) motel with very spacious, stylish, and well-equipped rooms. The beds are very comfortable, location is convenient and has a few restaurants within safe walking distance. The staff was lovely as well. Would definitely stay again!
