It is Dusty or Muddy depending on the weather. The truck entrance is on White Pine Lane, North of the plant. (there is a map attached for reference). Once you turn into the driveway, you'll be looking at the scale. There is a trailer on your right with signs. If you're pulling a reefer, you need to immediately turn right (west) into the drop yard and drive around to get in line for the trailer wash out. If you're pulling anything but a reefer stop to the right of the drive in the gravel beside the scale and park. DO NOT BLOCK THE DRIVEWAY. If you're hauling hogs, don't show up more than 35 minutes early or they'll kick you out. Once parked, you can go in and check in with security. REEFER DRIVERS HAVE TO DRIVE AROUND THE YARD and get in line. Reefers must have 3/4 of a tank of fuel or you will be sent to get fuel before you can check in! Wash out and inspection is mandatory, so do not wash prior to coming unless it's really nasty. Regular carriers have accounts to pay for the wash and trailer spotting fee. CPU loads have to pay at the wash out. Credit Card, EFS or Com Data are accepted. Make sure you have a form of payment ready or you might be sent back around until you get your money code if they are busy. It's 73 dollars on weekdays and 74 on weekends. This pays for the wash and trailer spotting fee. If you do not drive around the yard to get in line, you risk cutting off another driver that was in line already. The wash dock workers and/or security will make you go back around if you cut the wash out line. After driving around the horseshoe you'll be facing East looking at the wash out. STOP before crossing the driveway to the wash and open your doors and slide your tandems back. If you have a long wheelbased tractor, they are lenient on the tandem sliding, and will let you slide them once you've gotten into a hole at the wash dock. BUT DO NOT DRIVE ACROSS AND BLOCK THE WASH DOCK and then start opening your doors and sliding your tandems there, they will send you to the back of the line. The trailer yard is tight, if you need help getting your trailer, go back to the wash out and ask them to radio a yard driver to help you. They will help, it may take a minute if they're busy, but they will help you. This place is getting better than it used to be. If everyone follows the rules it helps out tremendously.

Okay, if we leave that part out then we can start with the smell when you arrive. You’ll want to puke the first hour you are here getting a wash, and dropping trailer.

I dropped mine at 16:00. Load was booked as 4-5 hour load time, no detention paid noted on rate con. Should be your first clue to leave it alone.

Get a call at 06:30 next morning its ready.

Arrive to pick up trailer and like others say, yard dog dropped trailer three inches from the trailer on drivers side so i had to go on a yard dog hunt to beg for help. (Remember you pay $73 for a wash and the spotting service on arrival- )
An hour later my trailer is in the middle of the road and i had to wrestle with a rusty lock on a dolly lock that was covered in grease.

Got that off- took 40 minutes for paperwork to be found. 2.5 hours after arriving to pick up trailer i head to scale to pay $10 to find out im 1600 over on drives with no way to correct. Only 31000 on trailer.

Checked in for rework and they had me stay connected. Got door 6 hours later. Drove to the back to hear more pig screams and see the cattle prods used on the live docks. Get to my door to find you have to back straight up a 10% grade to the dock where I am sitting now. Been here over 90 mins still waiting for forklift.

When i opened the doors its loaded doubles with no space between all the way to the nose with ten feet available in the tail.

Zero thought on weight distribution.

I guess most drivers probably dont weigh the load til they get to a place where their efs card works bc by the looks of every photo here they always load the same, and punish you with an entire wasted day listening to pigs scream if you come back to rework.

Update: 9 hours for rework. Told them I was still over by looking at it. Instead of fixing it they sent me to scale, then when im still 1000 over axle they sent me to the back of the nine hour line.

When they put no detentions on your rate con- this is why.

MAKE SURE TO HAVE 3/4 OR MORE REEFER FUEL WHEN YOU COME HERE, IF NOT THEY WILL TURN AWAY. (The closest truck stop is Loves 30 miles away)

If you enter this place and you see a line of trucks get in line, it’s for their washout bay or if there’s no line open your trailers and slide tandems to the rear on their rock gravel lot then enter their washout bay. All empty trailers that comes here needs to be washed out in their bay. IF YOU ATTEMPT TO OPEN TRAILER DOORS AND SLIDE TANDEMS IN THE WASHOUT BAY AREA, A SECURITY GUARD WILL FLAG YOU DOWN AND TELL YOU TO MOVE YOUR TRUCK AND EMPTY TRAILER TO ROCK GRAVE LOT TO DO THE PROCESS AND THEN COME BACK!

(This place does have a callback list)

Walk to the wash bay person sitting at a desk to check in, from there they will instruct you what to do next. Once you are attached to your loaded trailer, drive on their cat scale and someone should be out there to have you sign off on your paperwork.

(When I was leaving a trucker snapped his service line because he didn’t realize how tight of a place it is) BE CAUTIOUS!

Never have trailers load on time! This company makes 72.9 billion dollars a year, and doesn’t have the decency to have a trailer yard that isn’t a complete muddy soup pit! Or a dust bowl when dry! Some drivers don’t want to bring that dirt in their trucks where they sleep!

It's molasses day here at JBS everything's moving perfectly slow to do a quick drop and hook and it only takes an hour and 10 10 minutes. She tells me to get out of the truck this is highly unsafe not OSHA approved no steps if somebody Falls and trips who do I sue

Horrible. The check in process is a nightmare literally you’re dealing with 3 different shipping clerks telling you 3 different things. You’re required to get a wash out before you drop your trailer. So you must pull into the gravel lot on your right slide tandem open doors then back to wash bay. No one tells you this and there’s no signs. While they’re doing your wash out you must go check in with the wash out clerks then check in with the shipping clerk then go back and see the wash out clerk just so she can tell you where to drop your empty. Trailer lot was full barely found a spot and the spot I found was TIGHT. I was not told I needed to scale out therefore I didn’t get in the scale line on the way out. It took another driver to tell me that I must scale out which wasn’t a problem but I literally washed 2 hours here on a load that was ready when I arrived due to the staff poor communication and directions. Do not recommend this place

The workers I encountered were great…only reason I rated it so high. I waited as later as I could arrive and still be on time because I didn’t want to be there any longer than I had to which turned out to be a fairly good idea. The process is confusing and convoluted. Literally walking back and forth in a 25 foot area to two different people. There are no signs on how they actually want you to enter the wash bays. Hang a right when you enter, go all the way around the back and back up across from the wash bay. I can see how it could help a bit when they are backed up but also then you’re just making it harder to drop and hook trailers. Next….the horrid smell. My god, I really don’t think I have smelled anything that bad. I have delivered at some places I would like to forget but the rancid smell here is at the top of the list. Lastly, be prepared to have your truck washed after your visit and to need to clean up your floors. Whatever they spread on their property instead of paving absolutely cakes onto everything.

Workers told me I had to slide my tandems and open doors before using their wash station. They tried telling me I had to go back out into the street to do all of that and I couldn't do it anywhere on their property including the yard. I never heard of a distribution center that wouldn't allow you to slide tandems in their yard. Oh and plus there's no place to turn around on the street so you'd have to illegally back up in the road, which is not only illegal but dangerous.
