What an amazing trip through Portugal. Every detail planned to perfection from events, hotels, meals, and transportation. We got a full Portuguese experience and had so many “WOW” moments. I had an absolutely fabulous time on InquisiTours Wine & Rails tour. We had amazing food and wine, saw some incredible sights, everything you'd expect, but it was the unexpected that made this a WOW trip. Guy's spirit and great story telling, along with the little surprises he had planned (and some he improvised) along the way were exceptional. And although I went only knowing one other tour member, by the end of the trip it was like hanging out with old friends, some of whom I still keep in touch with. I can't recommend InquisiTours enough even if, and maybe *especially* if group travel isn't your norm. (Disclosure, I was comped the trip and attended as part of the media, but all of the above is an honest representation of my experience and I would do it all over again on my own.)

Where to begin!? First, I'm not one to review much but this was quite possibly one of the best trips I've ever been on. Admittedly, a wine tour is not my usual type of vacation and my friend had to do a bit of convincing to get me to join her. I'm so glad she won out though. I'd lived in Seattle for a couple of years but had hardly seen anything outside the city. Inquisitours exposed me to the amazing beauty Washington has to offer. Guy was so knowledgeable and fun, the other travelers were incredibly interesting and inspiring, and the food was amazing. I'll remember and cherish this experience for the rest of my life.

The Portugal Tour with InquisiTours was amazing from start to finish. The excursions and experiences, ranging from scenic boat rides on the Tejo and Douro rivers, cooking classes, wine tasting, walking tours, incredible multi course dinners and more, were far beyond what I imagined. There was ample opportunity to explore on your own as well. The accommodations were luxurious and were all centrally located. The local guides were knowledgeable and friendly. In short, this experience truly was once in a lifetime! I'm excited to see what opportunities are available next and would give them the highest marks. Five stars and highly recommended!

What a wonderful, lyrical -3+ days of venturing AND adventuring with my wife Becky first in Barcelona starting our planned 2+ weeks in Spain in a running celebration of our soon 50th Anniversary. It was all under the greatly energetic and creative advocacy of Robin Glaeser, GM of InquisiTours operated out of Walla Walla in SSE Washington State USA.

This visit to Barcelona actually was just intended to be a ‘prequel’ to a fully separate small but frankly very special Group Tour she had put together of 10 full days throughout the Basque Region of Northern Spain.

Her Tour Itinerary included focused wine-making and tasting traveling throughout the Rioja wine-making areas and as well the north coast ‘treasures’ including several days in San Sebastian at the foot of the Pyrenees. This was all accomplished using her obvious extensive ‘local knowledge’ and touring connections.

As we had never traveled in Spain, Robin encouraged and facilitated our wonderful stay to include taking in Barcelona. There, Robin so professionally and skillfully fulfilled our great interest when traveling to seek out the ‘soul(s)’ of both the principal city, here Barcelona, and beyond that of Costa Brava. This she did in spades in this land of such incredible history and cuisine experiences and of artists such as Pablo Picasso the painter and ‘Sr. GAUDI’ the architect, by lining us up with as it turned out truly the best LOCAL tour operator in the entire Barcelona region ranging well up to and through the famed Costa Brava. By reputation AND proven history he turned out to be singularly the regional ‘Tour Guide of the Stars’. He and his organization ably brought forth his well-stated local knowledge AND critically important effective and responsive local connections complementing his understated personal Barcelona-born background including his being an art educator.

It was at the start of our stay in Bilbao, a medieval town that is the heart of the Basque Region, however, that Robin really showed herself as a truly ‘full service’ and ‘hands-on’ tour operator providing extra-ordinary advice and services that included interesting businesses and places as well as special recommended side trips.

Included as well was advice for self-protection against increasingly ubiquitous pickpockets whose targets are no longer just money sources but increasingly critically important cell phones forgetfully carried openly and therefore most vulnerably in shirt front pockets, ever ripe for what is euphemistically called “Apple-picking” !!

We recommend Robin Glaser and her InquisiTours most highly and without hesitation, qualification or limitation.

Being able to customize our Walla Walla trip with InquisiTours was so easy for our family! The nice short hikes we took were amazing with such beautiful views. We also learned about the history of Louis and Clark and the Oregon trail! The comfortable accommodations were perfectly suited for our family and the wine and food were absolutely fantastic! With the health concerns at this time, we always felt safe and comfortable in the hands of our great tour guides. Safety precautions were observed at all times. This trip was the perfect mix of flexibility and activity. We want to return to Washington, and when we do, we will definitely do it again with InquisiTours!
