First off I have to say Darlene was amazing she was the kitchen manager of the breakfast buffet and was so attentive. Her customer service was remarkable !! To be honest this hotel had the best breakfast buffet we had ever had!! The room was spacious and had everything we needed throughout the weekend. The pools were good one was heated and one wasn't and the hot tub was amazing with this cool weather. This hotel is also pet friendly so our fur baby also had a great time. Thanks to the amazing staff for their friendliness and attentiveness. 10/10 would recommend to a friend

Been staying for a few months now and everything is amazing. The staff are very respectful and attentive to all of your needs. Monique and Kimmy at front desk have a great personality and is very welcoming. Darlene kitchen manager is very friendly and gives amazing service. Breakfast is good with a different variety every morning. Hotel interior is very modern and beautiful, 2 pools 1 heated, 1 not heated with a water fall and there is one hot tub that stays a great temperature. Great for a getaway with your family or friends with mini golf next to the pools. I will definitely recommend staying here.

I would love to give 5 stars but there were a couple small issues. The parking lot is tight and made for small compact cars as far as parking spaces go. So those of us who drive bigger vehicles such as trucks or work vans have a tough time.

Also our room (127) we could hear a lot of flushes thru the walls.

Otherwise was a much better experience than the last hotel we stayed at and close to everything we needed.

I was in town for a class and have stayed here several years ago. I was happy to see that the hotel is still a wonderful place to stay. The staff is very friendly and kind. The room is still very nice. Clean soft towels and linen. The bead and pillows are soft and you will fall asleep quickly. Breakfast is really great. Scrambled eggs are light and fluffy. The oatmeal is filling and the coffee tastes great. Again the staff sets this location above the rest. Enjoy. 😊

I had a flood in my house and I stayed at this Homewood suites in Port Richey FL. I never thought I would be there for a little over 4 months. I was treated like family. All yes I said All the staff was wonderful. The managers Stephen and The others helped me with my insurance needs. Monique at the front desk along with all the others greeted me with a smile every day. Which helped me to get through my journey during the storms. I could go on and on. Darlene at the breakfast station made the best muffins and always made sure I got what I wanted. Ok well you will not be disappointed staying there. Did I mention the heated pool and hot tub.

Our experience was, mixed. As much as there is potential, there is also room for improvement. The location was perfect for us, visiting people in the Sundance RV park, and all of the nice little beaches around. The staff, at least some anyway, were also friendly and helpful, and the pools and hot-tub were nice.

However, on night 4, we became aware that the bites we were getting on our ankles, and the little bugs in the room, were not no-see-ums, but fleas. These bugs did not fly, but jump, and they were getting worst.

So on day 5, we asked if our room could be cleaned. We returned in the evening to find that the fleas were very much still there, that’s when those videos are from, and so I asked to have a new room, in order not to go through another night of being nibbled at, and also concerned not to bring these back home with us. So on the evening of that day I changed rooms, and thankfully no fleas in that one.

On day 6 in the morning, I went back to the front desk, and was actually told the room had in fact been sprayed, which I have no reason not to believe, but I am quite disappointed they thought just spraying, and leaving the live fleas in there, was quite enough in terms of what they could do. I was also quite disappointed that all they offered us in terms of recognition of this bad experience, was a sweet from the snack bar.

I understand how this hotel is pet friendly, but I can’t imagine people would willingly go there, whether they have pets or not, to experience a room with fleas, and the poor customer service that followed.

I was hoping they would make this right, but given all they offered, it honestly reflected even worst.

Safe to say I won’t be coming back here, and will rethink going to any Hilton brand hotels going forward, as this kind of left a sour taste in my mouth.

Port Richey itself has a fair bit to offer though, so don’t let this weigh against your decision to visit this corner of Florida.

P.S.: My only guess is that a previous guest in the room had an animal, and it either had or was getting fleas, and upon our arrival the fleas were still in their early stages, larvae, and as our 7 day stay went on, they were hatching. I didn’t hear anything from other guests, and I certainly hope this is not a common occurrence. These bugs lead to serious infestations that need to be taken care of seriously. Or at least that’s what I think, so that’s partially why it was so disappointing to see this being treated the way it was. I did not make any kind of scene, I was specifically careful not to have our conversations at the front desk overheard, after all, this was probably an isolated incident and I didn’t want other guests to necessarily think this was a widespread problem. And I was hoping to not leave disappointed as a customer, but given the service and experience we got, I thought to at least leave this review as something for others to be aware of.

I'm hoping I have the name right for the person that helped us, Kim she was fantastic we visited the area due to my mom passing away at the nearby hospital. She did everything she could to make our 2 day stay exceptional, my hat goes off to all the staff as they all did an amazing job. I truly want to thank them all for all of their support but especially Kim.

When I walked into this hotel, I thought it looked nice. I have stayed in various Homewood Suites and really like the room layout. We travel on business and spend a lot of time in hotels. If you have a dog and like to leave your dog all day while you go to work, this is the hotel for you! The whole place is like a dog kennel. It smells like dogs and dogs bark and cry all day long while their owners are at work. While I like dogs, this hotel comes across as a dog kennel in every way. Dogs are everywhere.||The breakfast at some of the Homewood suites is actually very good. However, this one had short falls. Everything is dehydrated, rehydrated, and of the worst possible quality including all cereals and yogurts and "eggs" which are rehydrated and chopped up into large chunks. The breakfast "meats" are surely greatly unhealthy. One morning, the Canadian bacon was floating in a pan FULL of water. All this is the "hotel norm" but this was particularly bad. I decided to try the oatmeal figuring that would be OK, but when I opened the container, there was green powder in the oatmeal. I pointed it out to the lady was serving and she looked and said that the green was "oatmeal seeds" and were no problem at all. OK thats logical! Better to bring your own breakfast. Finally the gym which is nice in some Homewood Suites is not in this property. We may have to come back and stay here again, but I really hope not. If there was audio to this review, you could hear a dog woofing in the background.
