The front desk host, Angel Reardon, is amazing! I had a car full of flowers and balloons that she graciously allowed me to store in her office until check in. She went out of her way to arrange early check-in for me, which required her to switch my room. She gladly and immediately fetched coffee refills for the breakfast bar, twice! All with a smile, and wonderful customer service. Thank you Angel, you are a gem! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

It’s exactly as advertised- a great 2-star hotel. Beds are clean and comfortable, clean showers and hot water. Breakfast is good as well - everything you need to get going in the morning. A few quirks - bathroom toilet runs continuously, some trash in halls and stairways (not in the room), and some of the breakfast hot plates are “cold”…. Mmmm cold sausages. But - remember you didn’t pay for the Ritz-Carlton….

I have never encountered bad staff at a Holiday Inn Express. And the people here at the Durham, N.H. location are no exception. Always pleasant and helpful and greeting me with a warm smile every time we meet. My last visit involved an unfortunate situation of no fault of the hotel yet they hustled and made things right. I truly appreciate them!!

We were in town for a wedding and this hotel was perfectly centrally located for the wedding festivities. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The practical shelving for luggage was an unexpected bonus. The shower faucet had nice, strong water pressure, too. There was plenty of close, convenient parking spots available at all times that we came/went. I would absolutely stay here again if I'm staying overnight in the area again.

Top rated service, the staff are very professional and respectful. The rooms are clean and well stocked. The breakfast area is small but well laid out. The entire property is well maintained and on the newer side of renovations.

In my opinion this hotel is worth the price for convenience of its location and walking distance to UNH campus. However, it is very expensive comparatively to hotels in the area. The free and convenient parking is ideal. We did not entertain the free breakfast option. The hotel staff upon check in was fabulous and accommodating me with extra pillows as well as my room location request. I was disappointed upon entering the room as it smelled of mildew as if the carpeting had been flooded at one point in time. There was water damage to the bathroom walls which makes me think this could be the case. The air in the room was unpleasant. Initially the ac unit was not working but maintenance came and fixed it fast and with a friendly smile. I would give this hotel 5 stars if not for the issues with the mildew smell and water damages in the room. I knew the hotel was at capacity and did not make a complaint to the front desk about it knowing there was nothing that could be done at that time.

Cable TV in room did not work and had to be reprogrammed. Blinds in room did not function properly. Had to go down 2 floors to get ice from ice machine. Breakfast was subpar for Holiday Inn Express (pancake maker did not work, Orange juice was watered down, coffee was horrible, no chocolate milk, only instant flavored oatmeal, sausage was not cooked enough, not many choices for yogurt, pastries were a little stale). Other than the maintenance man that eventually got my TV to work after 45 minutes of going back and forth between the maintenance supervisor and Comcast, the staff was not very helpful...I had to call the front desk 3 times and eventually ran into the maintenance man while down on the first floor to get ice from the ice maker.

Clean room, quiet location, friendly staff, comfortable stay. Check in quick and easy. Beds had plenty of pillows and slept great. The includes breakfast was awesome and had great variety for everyone.
